As I start this journey of self-preservation, I'm getting back to my roots...back to the things I once enjoyed and reading was one of them!!! I'd read multiple books a week and I miss that!!! Most of the books I used to read were African American romance novels by author's like Omar Tyree, etc. Over the years, I have purchased more nonfiction and self-help books. My friend loaned me this book to read a while ago and I'm just getting around to opening it!! I'm excited to get back into reading, writing, creating, learning and all things that bring me joy and a sense of being grounded and in the moment!!!

I've put off the things that made me comfortable for far too long because of life, life-ing as it always does!!! NOW is the time to rediscover the light I once had and discover the light I've yet to allow to shine!! I've spent years allowing misfortunes to overpower my thoughts, my emotions, my actions and my spirit!! It's definitely time for me to stop being stagnant and be present in my own life and not just watch it pass me by!!! As I have faith in the prosperity of my journey, I also wish the best for y'all!!! WE GOT THIS!! 🙏🏿💪🏿🤞🏿
