✨ Monday Mood Board ✨

I have been pinning so many different outfit ideas since Christmas. I am loving that business casual is making a come back especially with a new take.

I am so excited to try the “shorts and tights” look with loafers. I’m extremely excited about this one because it would definitely be pushing my comfort zone but I am here for it!

The House in the Pine 3/5

This book started out great. It really captured my attention. It had everything you would want in a thriller genre book. The suspense, the twists and turns, and of course an unreliable character.

But as I got towards the end of the book, it became anticlimactic. There was no resolution to the story. I had more questions than answers when I finished this read.

I had high hopes for The House in the Pines, but for me it didn’t live up to the hype.

A round up of my favorite reads from 2023 📚📚

My goal for 2023 was to read 50 books. However, life got in the way and I was only able to read 33. But, I did expand not only my reading genre but the way I consume books as well. I leaned heavily into audiobooks this past year and I am really glad I did. I was able to so many more great books to my finished pile.

What I loved the most was my expansion in thriller/mystery genre. With club I was able to choose books I properly wouldn’t have chosen if I was in a Barnes and Noble or Target.

My 2023 reading lacked in the fantasy genre but hoping to change that with a couple of series I have on my TBR list.

My goal for this year is to read 50 books (I’ve already finished my first one and will be giving a review later today). But for now, what books are you looking forward to reading in 2024?

Today I’m sharing everything ornaments. My mom has always given my sister and I an ornament every year. I always love receiving them because you can tell the person put so much thought into picking it out for you.

1️⃣ went to my cousins Halloween party
2️⃣ received my welcome package from my wedding planner
3️⃣finally set up my new clothing rack (will probably change around really soon, but for now it works)
4️⃣ not pictured, but had a movie marathon day yesterday started with Cruella and ended with Pain Hustlers (highly reccomend!!)

Realistic summer ➡️ fall outfits.

Can I be honest? It’s great to see so many chic summer to fall fashion ideas but I feel like lately they seem unobtainable to achieve.

So I decided to go back through my camera roll and find some of my favorite summer to fall looks that are realistic for everyone.

A cheetah print skirt is considered a neutral in my book 🐆🐆

Also, can I just point out that your house or apartment doesn’t have to be “Instagram perfect”. It takes a lot of money and time to do updates to your space and I just want you to know that there are people out there who have normal homes where things get messy and don’t have the newest bedding from Pottery Barn.

I am truly so sadden and devastated by the wildfires currently impacting Maui, Hawaii.

This is one of my family’s favorite places to visit. We’ve had so many wonderful memories and it truly is heart breaking to see the devastation unfolding in the aftermath of these wildfires. If you currently have plans to visit Hawaii in the near future, please cancel them. The hotels right now are being used as shelters for the people who have lost everything.

Adding to my hair care routine 😍😍

When used the shampoo, conditioner, and hair serum on my hair I knew right away this product was going to be a game changer for me.

Usually my hair gets greasy after second day wash, but when I used Goldie Locks I was able to make it three full days with a fresh wash look.

If you’re hair is anything like mine, I highly suggest Goldie Locks!!

Maid of Honor ✔️✔️

Celebrated my best friend’s wedding yesterday. The venue, bridal party, and weather was absolutely gorgeous.

The color of the bridal party dresses looked amazing on everyone. Steel blue was a definite win to all!

The sandal of the season 😍😍😍

These slides are perfect for just about any type of outfit! I love how versatile they are and love that they come in so many colors.
