Rapper Mystikal arrested on r**e charges

Rapper Mystikal has been arrested on charges of first-degree r**e, felony domestic abuse by strangulation and other counts in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
The 51-year-old, real name Michael Tyler, was arrested on Sunday night after local police had spoken with a person alleging they were a victim of a s*xual assault at a nearby hospital.

Tyler, who scored a global hit in 2000 with Shake Ya Ass and was subsequently nominated for two Grammy awards, served a six-year sentence in 2004 after being found guilty of s*xual assault and extortion.
Tyler pleaded guilty to forcing his hairstylist to perform what a judge called “continuous s*x acts” after accusing her of stealing $80,000 worth of his checks. The woman denied stealing the money.
In 2012, Tyler was jailed for three months after an arrest on a misdemeanour domestic abuse count, which was later referred to by Tyler’s attorney as an “unfortunate incident” between two domestic partners “who have cared about each other for 10 years”. The victim was the mother of his two children.
In an April 2021 interview with the Associated Press, Tyler talked about turning his life around and taking a different approach with his music.

126 lbs of co***ne washed up along Florida coast

Dozens of packages containing co***ne were found washed up along the coastline of the Florida Keys over the weekend, according to authorities.
U.S. Border Patrol officials said the drugs were discovered by good samaritans who found the packages in a line of mangroves near the Ocean Pointe Condominiums.

When Monroe County deputies were called to collect the packages, they found a large package that had multiple smaller packages within it. The smaller packages were tightly packed with black tape. Their contents field-tested positive for co***ne.
The entire package weighed 71.6 pounds.
In total, both agencies discovered 126 lbs. of co***ne that had an estimated street value of nearly $2 million.

The Sacramento Kings announced a partnership with Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson on Wednesday.

The rapper-turned entrepreneur, actor and producer has a cognac line that will be available next season in the Golden 1 Center concourses.

The Grammy-Award winner was spotted next to owner Vivek Ranadivé at Las Vegas Summer League and was photographed rocking a Kings jersey during a performance and later with several Kings in town. The hints were there for some sort of partnership with the organization.

“We are thrilled to partner with Curtis and bring Sire Spirits to Golden 1 Center for our fans and guests to enjoy,” Ranadivé said in a release. “This partnership continues the Kings commitment to supporting diverse entrepreneurs and aligns our shared passion for providing youth with the tools and opportunities they need to succeed. I am excited to work together to support the Sacramento community.”

“I did this deal after meeting with Vivek Ranadivé and learning how he and the entire Kings organization genuinely shares my philosophy of promoting conscious capitalism,” Jackson said in the release. “I very much look forward to meeting the Kings fans and expanding the reach of my G-Unity Foundation and spirits brands in and around the city of Sacramento.”

As part of this partnership, Jackson’s foundation will team up with the organization to provide scholarships and host local high school students in an exclusive suite at the stadium, according to the release.

Hopefully, the drinks will be consumed by fans looking to further an already enjoyable Kings performance, rather than drowning their sorrows.
