Meet Fuzzy Bear - the small donated stuffed animal who brought joy to a young girl in an orphanage in Ecuador. Who would have thought that little bear could do so much good? Or that a boy could by ? Every action we make matters.
Big thanks to Zully JF Alvarado, whose nonprofit - Causes for Change International has helped thousands of youth get free healthcare... the leader of our volunteer missions... and a leader for those with disabilities in the United States.

Every day, it’s important to focus on affirmations that reinforce our Highest potential… so we can step into our greatness!
We often focus on the words we say to others, but it’s those quiet, persistent whispers in our minds that truly guide us. If we constantly tell ourselves we’re not good enough, that we can’t achieve our goals, or that we don’t deserve happiness, those negative whispers can hold us back from reaching our full potential.
On the flip side, when we consciously choose to whisper words of encouragement, self-belief, and positivity, we empower ourselves to overcome challenges and pursue our dreams. Affirmations are a powerful tool in this process. By repeatedly telling ourselves that we are capable, worthy, and resilient, we begin to believe it and act accordingly.
Today, I encourage you to pay attention to your inner dialogue. What are you whispering to yourself? Make a conscious effort to replace any negative self-talk with empowering affirmations. Remind yourself of your strengths, your accomplishments, and your potential.
Remember, the most important conversation you have each day is the one you have with yourself. Choose words that uplift and inspire you. You have the power to shape your reality through the thoughts you nurture and the beliefs you hold.

What a powerful talk! We do train our children to avoid mistakes and then we take away the joy of creativity, which involves risk. Let’s be willing to set an example and make ourselves vulnerable… and therefore encourage youth and those around us to be creative… and experience the fullness of life.

You can feel a special appreciation for youth outside the door at Reilly Elementary School.
It’s easy to honor those around us who do good using the globally recognized “Who I am Makes A Difference” .” Thanks to the wonderful artistic team, and the teachers and administration at Reilly Elementary School in Chicago, the 7th graders created a powerful program - combining music and dance - of their stories… how to deal with challenges… and how to have empathy for one another. Every school deserves to have programs that teach youth empathy. Kudos to Executive Director, Steve Leaver, teaching artists Nick Smith, Sami Jo Johnson, Cosmo Coniglio, reading tutor Liz Weiner and Winnie Stevenson, Asst. Principal. What a Joy to watch this show of youth being able to open their hearts onstage!
