Felt inspired to redo my edits of last month's Stray Kids concert in London.
I took an old digicam with me to try to get decent photos, but it was hard. I also tried the zoom on my phone, but it makes people look very comic-like...
I couldn't shoot in raw mode, so the colours were all over the place. Hence, I prefer the black and white pics.
Now I like my edits more.
Some cool I took recently. It's so much fun to listen to music while also working my camera.
At concerts I went to two years ago, I realised that I really really wanted to capture those precious memories with my camera, but venues don't typically let you in with a camera. (Maybe only small digital one. And even though my Samsung phone has a great zoom, it's just not the same.)
I have ADHD, so I use music to work better. And when I enjoy music, I also want to move or do something to really listen. And just standing around and dancing didn't feel as fun as trying to capture special movements, the way the lights hit and how the outfits sparkled.
So I want to do more concert and artist photography (on top of what I already do, I am not switching).

I really love this concept. The original idea was to have mini versions of my models dance on the shoulder to look at and play with the big gold earrings.
But the way it turned out is so much fun as well! It really brings out the personality of each model and shows people as the three-dimensional beings they are.

Just saw this video snipped of DPR IAN explaining that when he shoots MVs, he also edits on set to see what needs fixing. That just blew my mind. That's so smart!
I usually edit immediately after filming, so it's still all in my mind, lined up mentally and ready to go. But juggling all the stoyboard, transition motions, etc mentally is exhausting. (And yes, I also have storyboards or shot lists, but I need to "see" it in my mind to create it better).

People forget looking "professional" to the most boring degree can actually be detrimental to their personal branding.
Where's the personality? It can scream "human resource".
And let's face it, the corporate world already isn't typically very kind to its worker nor applauds individuality unless greenlit in a meticulous marketing campaign.

The common advice is to put yourself out there, consistently create content, engage etc. But what most people don't realise is that they might land totally differently than they expect and could possible not be visible or maybe ever repel their dream client. Any visuals give a lot of clues and are a first impression. So putting anything out there can be detrimental if it's not intentional.
