He's managed to find quite a few of the sites that William mentions in his journals that are still there, such as the Cassina di Pomi. A hotel then, private residences today. You can read more about it here. https://www.robertspublications.com/blog/a-british-railway-pioneer-in-monza

This plaque commemorates the death of William Huskisson MP. Chairman of the Board of Trade in 1824 who oversaw an act of parliament banning the export of machinery from Britain greatly derided by Great Great Grandad Will. He's more famous as being the first man to be killed by a steam train on the opening day of the Liverpool to Manchester Railway. Hear about it in episode 10 of A Grand Tour with my Great Great Grandad. https://shows.acast.com/a-grand-tour-with-my-great-great-grandad/episodes/a-grand-tour-with-my-great-great-grandad-10
