Following a shoot, I like to give the production or director some examples of possible grades. I haven’t managed to use DaVinci Resolve yet, so these example are graded in FCX using a combination of a LUT, colour wheels and hue / saturation curves (which allow for more more precise control over individual colours within a scene) here are the before and afters...

Day 3: this morning’s setup given a popular streaming service doc interview style with a teal colour palette, depth and bokeh. Day 2: I’m using the new Vibesta Pixel RGB 4ft Tube lights today to enhance my background lighting and to add texture to the glass candle containers. The additional light in the candle is the first time I’ve set the candle mode in an actual set up and it works great. Key and fill lights are provided again by the Nanlite Forza 500 set to 5600k with the projector going through 2 layers of diffusion and the Forza 60 set to 3200k. @ Bray, Windsor And Maidenhead, United Kingdom

Testing out some new Sony FX6 LUTs which have been developed by to achieve an ARRI Alexa colour representation. There are 10 LUTs and I’ve just used a couple here, and the last has then applied a second LUT called Paris Vintage with some film grain added. Thanks and @ London, United Kingdom
