Tomorrow night midnight, there is a christchurch first of having a prerelease done at 1201am. This is a chance to have the earliest of the early access to the new set Paradox Rift.
Event is being hosted by Card Merchant Christchurch . 300 Lincoln Road 1201am 21st October.
$50 entry which is the lowest in town also.

Just wanna say Card Merchant Christchurch has its weekly Junior and Senior League on today. We sre also Continuing with our learn to play sessions as long as there is demand for them.
2pm at 300 Lincoln road.

The thing I love most about collecting and playing pokemon cards is not the value or anything like that but rather the memories gained.
The countless hours I've spent with my amazing wife ripping into booster packs. The late night mishes to eb games because they were doing 3 for $12.
The hours/days/weeks spent organizing then reorganizing then reorganizing again because messing about with cards brings a joy and relaxation like nothing else.
The trades with good friends for cards I really wanted.
The chase for certain cards to make decks with, I'll never forget the hustle I had to go through in order to make Blastoise vmax deck. But also buying random lots of trainers so I constantly have a supply for my friends to hunt out what they need to make their decks.
The meets I've attended and met amazing people along the way.
Pokémon has given me memories other hobbies just can't and I'm super appreciative for everyone in this hobby that contributes.

Hey there splash fans.

As you hopefully know I've been running a Gym Leaders Challenge series on ptcgo the last month. I've loved each week so far with different decks coming through.

4 weeks of play has seen 3 different winners.
This fornat is not for the faint of heart, and needs a strong build in order to succeed. But after 4 weeks of trying and failing I finally won a week. Came as a mighty surprise after getting stomped round 1. But to the Victor come the spoils and I get to have a card slabbed for my victory.

I have 3 options below and would love your votes as to which one I should pick. Pokemaniac selected due to my friend hating it and I accidentally bought 2 copies so just love trolling him. Blastoise because it's my favourite pokemon of all time, and I enjoyed playing with blastoise for a few months, and finally charizard because I bought 2 copies and this is pretty dope art and it's a zard which you can never go wrong with.

Hey there Splash Fans. Just want to update you all on Week 2 result of the Splash Brothers Spring Gym Leaders Challenge series (WOW that is a mouthful). Congratulations to Nathan Childs who won week 2 also playing a Dark box deck. This was his first time playing GLC format having only decided saturday afternoon he was going to play.
Nathan will be getting a Team Skull Grunt Full Art Iconiq Slab for his win.
Interesting that Dark types have won the first 2 weeks of the series. Will dark continue it's dominating fashion? Will every player start playing dark? We will find out!
Don't forget that you can still enter to play in the following weeks with the next one being this saturday.
Costs are going up to $10.00 entry purely based on numbers and poor old Squirtle is losing money running these.
Come and have some fun though. It is a real blast. Watch some matches on Youtube to get a feel and hit me up if you have questions.
Saturday 5pm cut off to secure your spot. 6pm decklist must be submitted in discord. 6:30pm play will start.

Hey all.
Massive shout out to Chris Eathorne-Gould for winning week 1 of the Spring series Gym Leaders Challenge.
Chris played a great dark box combo to game it out beating the flood of aqua boxes that filled most of the field.

Chris will be getting a custom iconiq lucario card for his win and banks 9 points towards the overall title.

Come join us this week for week 2. Not too late to get into it. This is a super fun format and perfect for players who are sick of the standard format grind.

Hey Splash whanau. It's that
Time again where I yammer on about the gym leaders format tournament im running on ptcgo. 8 week series so should run over every weekend for August and September.
This event will be held on ptcgk with event chatter happening on discord.

Points carry over each week towards the overall champion.

Entry fee is 5 dollars per week that you play payable before that weeks tournament starts.

Gym leader challenge format is as follows.
1. Monotype decks only. E.g. water only mons in a deck, fire in a different deck etc etc.

2. No pokemon with a rule box. Meaning no v, gx, ex, prism star, or ancient trait abilities. Also no ace spec trainers.

3. Expanded format, so all sets black n white base and newer are allowed.

4. Check out gym leader challenge website for unique banned list.

5. 90minute rounds due to 1 prize best of 3 format.

6. All cards except basic energy are card limit one.

Pokemon with same name but are regional variants count as different pokemon thus both variants are allowed but must be of the same monotype.

Prizing. 1st place of each week will get a custom reliq graded card. Card used to be negotiated with the winner each week. Custom message to be used also.

Overall winner will get a custom playmat from spellbound games. It will feature champion on it and so other Cool things.

Howdy pokemon community. After being a lil disappointed with the total number of entrants in my previous series, I have decided to try again and hope more of you get involved.
Splash brothers are pleased and proud to announce that starting August we will be hosting a Gym Leaders Challenge series on ptcgo.
For those who aren't familiar with the GLC rules the basics are as follows.

1. No rule box pokemon. No V cards, gx, ex, break, prism stars and ace spec cards.
2. All cards excluding basic energy are card limit 1.
3. Format is expanded meaning all cards black n white base and newer are allowed.
4. Can only have one copy of a card of the same name. Eg. Squirtle.
Weezing, galarian weezing, and alolan weezing are all different names.
5. Format is monotype. Only single type decks allowed. Colourless is it's own type.
6. This format has its own unique ban list. Check our the below site for what's on it.

Each weeks winner will get an Iconiq custom slab made for them.

The overall winner will not only get an iconiq slab but also a custom playmat with champion on it.

Hey all. I am pleased to announce that Drake Zhu was the winner of the Autumn Splash Brothers series sponsored by Pop Guardian.
Drake won 3 weeks our of 5 and displayed a maturity beyond his years of life but played as well as expected for someone playing Pokémon tcg for 3 plus years as he has.
