Y'all I gotta tell ya a story...

So E has been stayin with me here in the hood right? Last Sunday, genius goes to Isla Mujeres (the place were I almost got in trouble, cost Matt $$) and he leaves his ATM card in the machine.

He didn't realize it until I translated a random message he got on FB messenger profile he didn't recognize. The messages said, "I think you left your card in the machine on the island. I have it if you want it back"

So yours truly goes to the island to retrieve it for him.

LAST NIGHT (Friday, 5 days later)

We 3 go to a nearby shopping mall. We need to buy E a local SIM card. Once we jump out of the taxi, E pays and shuts the door. The taxi drives off.

E pats his shorts, gives me the "Home Alone" look and screams MY PHONE!! Then he turns towards the taxi and starts running. Y'all, I don't wanna be mean but E has gained a bit of weight since he came back from China so he looked like a fkn oompaloopma running down the street in flip flops waving his arms yelling in English for the taxi to stop.

My gf, was in disbelief and almost tears bc E is a du***ss and she realized we didn't get the taxi #. (all cars have an ID # on the outside)

I had just smoked a bowl so I was grinnin from ear to ear bc this MF is just trying to give his card away... Y'all he has one of those magnetic cases that holds all of his cards and ID and it's attached to his phone. That lil mf was runnin down the road bc his life was/is that phone and it's case. And if you know ole PeePaw, y'all know I don't move fast, no matter what your emergency is, I'm not Usain mf..

I followed him down the street, leisurely, after a block I saw a pair of flip flops in the street... they were small af so I asked the gf "are these E's?" ... she couldn't see s**t bc her eyes were filling up with tears bc she saw E a few blocks away and she said he looked defeated so I picked'em up.

I reckon E gave up after 2 ish blocks.. he got to the red light and realized the taxi had turned right on red! LMFAO so he turned around to walk back to us.

Luckily for E, the flip flops I picked up were his, and about the time he was able to put them on, a taxi pulls up behind us from the same direction we walking and he lightly beeped his horn, it was OUR taxi. At the traffic light before the driver turned and I guess E's phone had received some sort of notification or something but it lit up so the driver noticed. So he just went around the block to come back and look for us.

E only had $2 and the gf had $1 but the taxi driver was pretty insistent he didn't want anything so they basically dropped it in the seat and shut the door after thanking him repeatedly for an almost uncomfortable amount of time.
