I enjoy my morning milkings flanked by my little daughters.Like a mother quail and her coveyof offspring, we scurry down to the barnyard like schoolchildren late for class.Everyone is waiting for us.The dog to be rubbed, the milk pail to be scrubbed and a host of animals needing fed. Tulip comes first.We wash her udder and giver her long hugs.She gives us 2 gallons of milk and cream and in return we put a fresh flake of alfafa and a scoop of grain in front of her. ️

Fish Friday!Whole roast fish with lemongrass and ginger- 5cm piece of ginger, sliced into small matchsticks - 2 sticks lemongrass, cut into 3cm pieces and smashed - 2 limes, sliced - 1 whole fish, guts removed, and fins cut off (I used Red Emperor) - 2 tbsp olive oil - Salt to taste - 3 garlic cloves, finely diced - 1 red chilli, sliced - 1 spring onion, sliced thin and greens split from the whites - 3 tbsp light soy - 2 tbsp yuzu juice (or 1 tbsp lime juice if you can't find it) - 1 tbsp mirin - 2 tbsp grapeseed oil Method 1. Start by preparing the fish, make sure the cavity is clean and cut the fins off and score the flesh on both sides. 2. Then fill it with 1/2 the ginger, the lemongrass and the limes. 3. Place the fish onto an oiled tray and pour more oil over the top, season it with salt. 4. Place some more ginger on the top of the fish.5. Roast the fish in the oven on 220**°**c-240**°**c for 20-25 minutes.6. For the sauce, mix together the soy, yuzu and mirin.7. Then, heat the grapeseed oil in a pot until it’s really hot.8. Once the fish is cooked, place it onto the serving dish and put the spring onion whites, chilli, garlic and any ginger left on top.9. Carefully pour over the hot oil and then pour over the sauce. 10. Garnish it with the green spring onions and she's good to go!11. Serve with some fried rice and enjoy! #food #cooking #EasyRecipe #asmr #asmrfood #fyp
Chilli oil noodlesIngredients - 280g flour - 160g warm water - A pinch salt - 3 tbsp veg oil - 2 cloves garlic, minced - 2 spring onions finely sliced - 1 tsp chilli flakes - 0.5 tsp cumin seeds - 0.5 tsp Szechuan peppercorns Method 1. Start by making the dough. In a mixing bowl place the flour and salt. Make a well in the centre and pour in the water. 2. Mix until it comes together and you have a shaggy dough. Then turn it out and knead for 6-7 minutes or until you have a smooth dough. 3. Cut into 4 pieces and roll into rounds. 4. Pour 0.5 tsp of oil into a bowl and place the dough ball into it, cover and let rest for 1 hour. 5. When ready, place a large pot of salted water on to boil, and the remainder of the oil in a small pot to heat. 6. Working with one dough ball at a time, flatten it out then make a divot in the centre with a chopstick. Then grab each end and pull to stretch it. Once you have pulled it to around 1 metre, tear the strip in half. 7. Place the pulled noodles into the boiling water and cook for 3-4 minutes. 8. Place the garlic, spring onions, chilli, cumin and Szechuan peppercorns into your bowl. 9. Carefully pour the hot oil over the spices and veg in the bowl before adding in the cooked and drained noodles.
