Happy Friday Evening Everybody! I just wanted to let y’all know that I have a fun fun tutorial planned for next week after I get home from my visit with family but in the meantime I have had so much fun at my moms, now at my sons house and then off to my daughters house then back home!

My granddaughter Ava Bella was crowned Miss Winterfest Princess 2025, and my granddaughter Everleigh Dallas turns 6 tomorrow, she is currently out of town this weekend for a cheer competition so my grandson Baylor and I are having a pajama pizza, movie and playing with his Hot Wheel tracks kind of night! I can’t wait to see the rest of my sweet grandbabies this weekend!

I posted pics of the knitted Toboggans I learned how to do at my moms and I made one for each of my granddaughters! I will be making all my grandsons one in their favorite football colors lol!

So I learned to hand embroidery and knit this trip! My mom is an awesome teacher!!

Y’all know that saying “You can’t teach an old dog new tricks” ummmmmmm Yes you can 😆🤣 My mom taught me how to hand embroidery during our little snow storm here and I love it! I stamped the rose on a piece of fabric, then embroidered it for two days lol and then made it into a pillow!!

This is my first hand embroidery, I have used an embroidery machine a few times but it’s just not the same as doing it by hand!! I’m now hooked and can’t wait to do another project! For those that already know how to do this, how rewarding is this hobby!!!

Good afternoon to all our sweet friends!!! Oh my goodness, can yall believe Christmas is over!!! I’m not ready for it to be over, in fact I’m already planning next years decorations 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️😂😂🤣

We had a fantastic Christmas, however I have been down and out since yesterday with a very swollen knee (the knee that needs surgery but I have been putting off 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️) I just have been so busy this month and have overworked it so I will keep it elevated for a day or two more and then I’m Arkansas bound for a visit! 🙌🙌🙌 my bed is an adjustable bed so I have kept it elevated and the sweet hubby made me some homemade queso and brought it to me in bed (he is making a fabulous dinner as well! I wish I loved to cook as much as he does, he is quite the chef ❤️🥰)

My knee may be out of commission at the moment but that does not affect my eyes 👁️👀 so I have been doing a little after Christmas sale shopping online and y’all I did order two more MC reindeers and they were on sale! 🙌🙌to go with the one the hubs got me, so shopping from bed and eating such fabulous food made by my husband makes the swollen knee a little more tolerable 😂😂

I will see y’all soon for another fun project and congratulations again to Robyn Hause for winning our Charcuterie Board drawing! That was a fun giveaway and I’m planning more drawings to start our New Year! See y’all soon 🥰🥰

Y'all, we had a fantastic family Christmas get-together today and we each brought an ornament for a game - it was such a delightful experience! I created these homemade ornaments that I did a tutorial on last year and made some custom vintage-inspired gift bags to put them in - another past tutorial! We had an amazing time! I got such a sweet surprise today from my hubby!!! ❤️❤️❤️

A Huge Huge shoutout to my sweet hubby!!! Y’all I saw this Mackenzi Childs reindeer on my news feed the other day, actually while we were watching football 🤣🤣😝 and I showed it to my hubby and told him that I just loved him but that I wasn’t going to order it this late in the season and just maybe it would go on sale after Christmas and I would order it after Christmas, well today it showed up!!! This amazing hubby of mine ordered it and said you still have a few days to decorate with it!!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 This man!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Thank you honey! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄So surprised and so sweet!!
