The Nuer National Memorial Day | Dec 15, 2013!!

Ten years ago today, on December 15, 2023, the deadliest massacre of the Nuer people was carried out in Juba by the Dinka regime to eliminate Nei ti Naath on the ground, in the air, and door-to-door.

This massacre is the worst in Naath history, and we have never seen anything like this. The Dinka regime waged war against the Nuer, killing women and babies in their homes.

Dinka soldiers carried out a door-to-door genocide in Juba on this day and killed 20,000 Nuer people, including women and infants. This is the deadliest massacre that has ever happened in South Sudan.

The war continues and has spread to different parts of the country, especially in Nuerland. Nuerland was destroyed by the Dinka regime using the state military with help from other nations like Uganda and Kenya.

In fact, between 2023 and 2018, more than 400,000 Nuer people have been killed, with more than 896,000 displaced from their homes, fleeing to refugee camps in Ethiopia, Uganda, Kenya, Sudan, and more than 35,000 urbanized in the Western world, such as the USA, UK, Sweden, Australia, and Norway.

In 2016, the Dinka regime formulated a fake peace agreement so that Dr. Riek Machar, the former South Sudan Vice President, could come to Juba, intending to capture and kill him. This led to the second genocide of the Nuer by the Dinka military regime. Dr. Riek Machar fled to Congo by foot for 40 days with no water and food to eat, but he survived, with hundreds of Nuer killed along the way to protect him.

Right now, as you read this, Nuer are the major refugees suffering across South Sudan and are displaced from their homes. There are infants with no parents or caretakers; moms are struggling in the refugee camps because they don’t have a husband to help raise their kids together.

Mental enslavement is very damagingg!!

This is an oil concession map in South Sudan. Nuerland which is very rich in oil resources and agricultural production is just being controlled by the Dinka to exploit our resources.

This map depicted the oil concentration in and Dinka's plan for its extraction.

The oilfields are controlled by Chinese companies which is very damaging to our land. However, the earlier we realize this, the sooner it shall be saved.

Generals who make less than $40,000 a year live in luxury villas with infinity pools in a neighborhood in the Ugandan capital, Kampala, where homes run upwards of $2 million.

My community is torn into pieces by the government of South Sudan today. The ruling nation committed a genocide that took the souls of 36,000 Nuer people door-to-door in daylight and displaced 2.5 million to neighboring countries such as Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, and others. 400,000 Nuer people were killed between 2013 and 2018. 60% of the Nuer people live in the refugee camp while 5% live in the diaspora and the rest are on the battlefields including children.

Nuer children between 15 and 18 are in the frontline with AK-47s than in a school with a pen learning math and science. The government ruled by the Dinka planned to reduce the number of my nation by 40% in 2030 and their plan is succeeding. As of today, the Nuer people have two options. The first option is to stay as a part of South Sudan and endure an endless civil war against the Dinka. A deadly genocide like what happened in Rwanda, and what is happening now in Ethiopia, Congo, Nigeria, and many other African countries. Or establish their state in their land of approximately 35,000 square miles and a population of 6.5 million.

Your ancestors lived in that land for centuries before the British and the Arab forced us to be with them.

Our ancestors did not agree to be apart of Anglo-Egyptian condominiums, Sudan and South Sudan. But, all these were just created by them. Guek Gnundeng was killed by the British likewise his father.

The people of South Sudan are hopeless on a military government that achieves nothing for 11 years.
It has never achieved even a single positive thing.le thought that they would strive to elevate the country to be one of the middle-income countries and fast-growing economies in Africa. It become groundless, the country's stakeholders have failed in everything.
It has never achieved even a single positive thing.
Here are some of the achievements the so call South Sudan has made.
1) Civil war.
2) Massive loss of human lives.
3) Massive devastation of properties.
4) Devaluation of currency.
5) Worse economic depression.
6) Mass migration of local citizens to neighboring countries for asylum-seeking.
7) Selling oil out for eight years.

10) Heavy debt from China, Egypt, and Russia for ammunition and artillery to escalating civil war.

How SAD would it be to live and NOT think of flying with a plane of your own country or by a pilot who speaks your language, has a familiar name, or looks like you?

This is why to make it happen, we need as a Nuer country where you can fly with Airline, with and as your pilots. Plus 8 cabin crews who look like you and speak the same language.

Our land is destroyed by the Dinka government and the flood submerged thousands of houses and displaced thousands of people.

NUER WOMEN'S RIGHT TO EDUCATION!!

Nuer women's human right to education must be respected and we should allow them to practice their right to learn and achieve a formal education. This allows them to maintain their life even in adverse circumstances like DIVORCE among other things.
Let's allow our women to have their right to education. Nuer society is not moving forward because many women aren't allowed to go to school. Besides, women play a bigger role in our society.

It is their human right to achieve a formal education and contribute to the family and community at large. Education can also allow them to make concrete ideas and participate in the decision-making process. Women in this world of money suffer a lot because they depend on men and face different challenges in their marriage. Allowing them to have something on their own will not only be beneficial to support their kids but their families and the entire Nuer community.

Fathers, husbands, and brothers must allow women in their houses to go to school. Marriage sometimes doesn't go in the way it is planned and ends up affecting women a lot who cannot support themselves during a divorce. Therefore, it is important o prioritize educational achievement for women because this is one of the crucial opportunities that can change their lives.

Marriage in some cases might be short-lived, but an excellent education for a Nuer woman is permanent.

Why did Yugoslavia break up??

The varied reasons for the country’s breakup ranged from
1) the cultural and religious divisions between the ethnic groups making up the nation the memories of WWII atrocities committed by all sides, to centrifugal nationalist forces. However, a series of major political events served as the catalyst for exacerbating inherent tensions in the Yugoslav republic.

The ongoing effects of democratization in Eastern Europe were felt throughout Yugoslavia. As Milosevic worked to consolidate power in Serbia, elections in Slovenia and Croatia in 1990 gave non-communist parties control of the state legislatures and governments.

1) Slovenia was the first to declare “sovereignty” in 1990, issuing a parliamentary declaration that Slovenian law took precedence over Yugoslav law.
2) Croatia followed in May-a Croatian referendum in May 1991 also supported full independence.
3) in August, the Yugoslav Republic of Bosnia-Herzegovina also declared itself sovereign.
4) Serbs(Serbia) in Bosnia declared their own areas an independent republic.
5) Macedonia itself also declared independence following a September 1991 referendum
6) Montenegro declared independence on June 3, 2006.
7) In 2008, Kosovo declared independence and was recognized by the United States and most European states.

This is the same situation in African countries but many people failed to see it. They don't know what history tells us about the unity of ethnically and politically divided people.

The UNITY in South Sudan will never work out and we will just kill each other unless we open our eyes to realize this now. After the separation of Yugoslavia into tiny countries, they stopped fighting and are living in peace now more than ever.

Army forces in South Sudan were forced to unite under SSDF for the sake of conducting the 2023 election and we are worried that things will fall apart soon.

These forces united on paper but not in the spirit that's why they are still killing each other. The mission of the Dinka government to reduce the Nuer population is still on the move to reach 40%.
Nuer people living in this generation are all REFUGEES. No matter where you live in the world, you are living as a refugee or your grandparents/parents are/were refugees.

We only have ONE option to change this way of living and that is defending the Nuer right and freedom to self-determination. Our population is huge and we cannot be humiliated like that.

Dinka government is using Nuer to kill other Nuer as a way to reduce our people and our people are so blind so this. The young generation of the Nuer has the power and wisdom to understand and expose this DINKA plan.
