Little may know but these boys have a special place in the foundations of how I first began mixing! They both introduced me to the Leicester underground scene! They inspired me massively to learn how to mix and gave me the confidence to produce music as well!! Truly grateful!

Excited to have producer Oliver Prince on this month’s guest mix, all the way from Christchurch, New Zealand 🇳🇿

I first discovered him on label part of their Drop FM charity EP with the track Hush Money! Strongly recommend you check this one out as well as the label if you haven’t already!

The breadth to Oliver’s productions is clearly evident in his talent when incorporating large reverberating bass lines that encapsulates a dub sound system style, incorporating essences of jungle breakbeats cascading throughout. Looking through his catalogue of music you can see a deep seeded influence of sound system culture producing high energy breakbeat, jungle and deep dubstep sounds! Make it known that these are the type of songs that deserve to be played out on a 5k rig!

He recently released his first vinyl NORM:001 out on last year in September featuring wobble methods/ Hush Money VIP which was featured on Sudo sound mix on YouTube channel!

The mix he has provided for us explores 140 -160 BPM so expect the high energy jungle tunes to come out with a handful of unreleased dubs from himself! When I was wee kid I always wanted to be an entertainer but to what extent I didn't know. Ever since knowing about I've always wanted to play there but didn't know when! If you told me the year before buying tickets that I would be playing it representing with two of my besties & .uk_ I would of said you were mad! 🤣

But yet here we are, manifestations well and truly achieved! A proud day for the Lowertone community and definetly a testament to how far we have come! LFG! 😎

Very excited to have .music on my show tonight for 8-10pm bringing through a UKG vinyl only guest mix in the second hour of the show. I will be on the 1st hour providing you the usual 140!

This guy evidently knows his history of music as well as being a very talented producer who produces all ranges of music. I picked him up a few years back with a handful of his grime tunes which have stayed president on my USB for some time. Be sure to check out his socials! Been chatting to him for a while pre the mix and his collection of vinyl is definetly one to be rivalled. He has provided an energetic mix full of classics and rareities!
