— I’ve been catching up on some storms in my life + a plethora of work and couldn’t be more excited to have a break in time to create (for myself.) This past weekend I got to stretch my social wings and after some much needed rest after all the fun… I can wake up slow, drink my cup of coffee, read my book and know I have all I need in this current moment.

So this week (while it can be a wild holiday to get down for) remember to work in some time to do jack sh** with the people you love and fill your cup.

Our adventures trump picturesque views, especially when chaos is unleashed — all because mom forgot the treats.

In the quiet unfolding of spring, I’ve been introspective, courtesy of the eclipse that cast a shadow both overhead and over my thoughts. It’s funny how celestial movements can draw out such deep contemplation, and it didn’t just tug at my curiosity — it sapped my energy too.

So I embraced a period of rest, a much-needed pause that allowed for some exploration of mind and space.

And today, as I walked through the garden, witnessing the flowers in full bloom, it struck me: my own season is just taking root. Seeing life in those bursts of color, I sensed my beginnings mirrored in nature’s cycle of renewal.

As the path ahead clears, marked by the vibrant blossoms of possibilities, I feel the stirring of excitement for what’s to come. This is the start of a chapter where I grow, learn, and thrive — and I’m all in for the journey.

A letter for… your birthday. 💌

It’s a day to inspire you to really live. Because this life that goes too quickly is meant to be spent being.

Depending on who you are, the states of being that matter the most to you… are the ones worth carving out time for.

It’s the delight of a sunrise, the warmth of the sun, the slow mornings and baked goods, the wonder of learning and making new connections, the smell and touch of a paperback book, the joy from a good energetic exchange, the dog smiles (especially those from my guy), the magic of a support system, the satisfaction of working through the uncomfortable to find ‘the gift’, and the thrill of the wind in your hair or water on your skin.

So, like my own, I hope your birthday this year is a reminder of all the happiness you’ve known and a beacon for joy that has yet to arrive.

Here’s to the laughter yet to echo, the dreams waiting to unfold, and the endless “f**k yeahs” that lie ahead.

Thankful? — doesn’t even begin to cover it.

Even if I haven’t reached out, if I’ve told you I love you ONCE. I’m thankful for you, your friendship, your support, and your love 🥲

But I’m also SO thankful for this lil life on a wildly beautiful blue dot.

From the monthly NM desert trips, the solar eclipse at 99% totality, to the beaches in Cali, water time of any kind, festivals in the mountains, bike rides in Aspen, the fall colors, the Denver music scene, divine female immersions (with a bunch of bad bitties), my lil knees holding up on the ski mtn, and finally to my temporary home in Boulder the past few months.

& Who knew it’d come with a bunch of new amazing friends/roommates! Here’s to these dudes making me feel comfortable, and taking me under their wing(s) for a little bit. ✨

Like having an uninvited guest that barges into your life, rearranges everything, and then expects you to be grateful for the chaos.

But it’s the moments of discomfort that real growth occurs. So here’s to the people this fall that had to look deeper and grow with the change falling all around them.

Before I totally flood my feed with the past few weeks of leaf peeping, I want to reminisce on these two incredible souls, ones that are now bonded for life and a couple who I’m now lucky to call my friends.

Perry & Ian are a pair, a match, but most of all…these two are true partners. It didn’t take me longer than a few minutes to know that they are authentic, intelligent, and genuine people. So authentic they trusted me to document this special day with them after assisting them a few months earlier with some Airbnb/rental photography.

I don’t think any of us slept a wink the night before from pre-wedding day jitters (and we met up in Boulder at 3:00a.m.) Regardless of needing more Zzz’s, the moment we arrived at the trailhead and hiked towards the golden sunrise, we came alive.

Along our hike, I got all of their relationship details, and time and time again Perry and Ian made me cackle. Then we found our spot for their ceremony, I got set up to capture everything…and it was f**king magical. I couldn’t even hear a word they were saying because I perfectly positioned myself next to a rushing stream, but I could feel every ounce of energy exchanged. The love, growth, and memories they shared on that mountaintop made the already perfect Colorado summer day, unbelievable.

I cried, laughed, and felt a sense of peace rush over me. – True love exists.

Like a delicate spider web, weaves its intricate threads, connecting souls in the most unexpected ways.

Thank you Perry & Ian for an experience that made me absolutely love what I do. 🥲✨

This one goes to my girl .d.cash. A friend who I say is a sister, one I will love and cherish for life. She’s trusted me time and time again to take her on one wild adventure after another and her artsy side has shown me different things my adventure a** would’ve said “nah, I’ll go out to the woods.”
This lady has shown me museums, art collectives, the International Church of Ma*****na, how to get a dog past hotel security (the easy way), the list goes on. Overall, no matter how different our main interests can be…. I still just wanna take her a** to the mountains. 🤣😉

Last birthday, she got you a new sweater. Put it on, give her a kiss, and tell her, do better. 🤣

Happy birthday to this sweet soul; since our meet a few months back… it’s been nothing short of interesting. 🤪

Starting with a first date rafting R2 style, wiping bug guts out of our eyes while chasing sunset on a tandem ducky (we def went swimming lol — I saved TWO paddles — never letting you live that one down,) losing my phone on the ride, dancing and staying up too late at the top of Aspen DJ party, or surprising you after crushed in Dillon. All of which have been a treat to my dear soul.

But today is about you — & I hope it’s filled with crisp Aspen air, sunshine, positive energies, and pssssssst don’t forget the beer 🍻

Howdy, I’m Lily. — & it’s been awhile since I’ve told you guys what I’m all about.

First and foremost; your energy introduces you before you do! So be positive and that’s what you’ll begin attracting. Watch and see…. seriously, I couldn’t stress this more. — You gotta have some of this. 🥲

Second, my business is coming up on her three year anniversary! 🎉 but wth do I do? — I’m a multi-talented solopreneur with a diverse set of skills that include digital marketing, photography, graphic design, and FAA certified drone piloting.

And I tie every skill I have and gain back to staying positive. I love to learn but we all know sometimes learning new things can present unseen challenges, but that’s the beauty of it. None of the greats gave up when someone denied them or told them “they weren’t good enough” — they failed forward and well, now… they’re considered ‘the greats.’

So stay positive, keep learning, pushing, and getting back up when you get kicked down. REMEMBER, if you can weather one storm, you can weather them all. 💪🏼

I (of course) jumped out of the car to photograph them and as I did I had to step back with each frame as they both inches closer….by the end I was sitting back in the driver seat. 😳

(Then we patiently waited for them to leave.)

Life has been a series of moments lately, beautiful moments ✨

Even still, we all have our ups and downs. I recently had a down moment of my own. — & it downright sucked. But, it’s okay.

Because each time, I return to the outdoors and eventually to myself.

Each time though, I feel myself becoming more and more in tune, with what I need to live the happiest version of my life. Even when it’s bad, it’s just the universe love bombing you with bitchy hints so you know that what’s next is even better.

So here’s to letting go of the bad stuff, and only allowing space for the good ♡

I’m not really sure how I dreamt of a life so beautiful. One filled with beautiful people, travels, art, and music. — But sometimes I’m even more unsure how I found it.

But then I remember. So, I thank empathy, patience, and compassion for this beauty. & also, I thank the darkness, the pain, & the struggle.

Because it’s given me perspective, one that brings me back to the light. — Every. single. time.
