Almond Blossom painted by Vincent Van Gogh in 1890.
The Blossoming Almond Tree was Van Gogh’s gift to the birth of his nephew who was named Vincent after his godfather.
The hope thus expressed in the image is a celebration of family life.
Ironically the artist finished the image symbolizing new life and rebirth few monthes before he committed su***de.
After the death of VanGogh’s brother Theo and his son Vincent, the painting went to the widow Joanna then to VanGogh foundation in 1960.
It now resides at the VanGogh museum in Amsterdam.
According to VanGogh he told his brother that this is the best most patiently worked thing he had painted.

The scream by
The scream was painted by Edvard Munch in 1893, it is a painting that defines the anxiety and uncertainty that we live in our own present age.
Munch painted this figure based on an autobiographical experience, after his two companions seen in the figure left him.
According to the painter when he was walking in the street he saw was setting sun and clouds in the sky which appeared in blood red color, and he heard a faint creaking sound from under the city, which sounded like the nature was screaming.
Although it was Munch himself who underwent the experience the protagonist has no resemblance to him or anyone else. The creature in the foreground has been depersonalized and crushed into sexlessness or, if anything, stamped with a trace of the femininity of the world that has come close to assimilating it.
