What is the point of outsourcing it as a marketing vehicle to grow your business if you have no idea what you’re getting out of it?

Lay the foundation for success:
– use tracking codes
– use tracking links
– review your monthly website analytics
– start a referral program
– track phone calls with boosted + sponsored posts.

Social media marketing does not need to be in the gray. As we approach 2024, it has become more and more tangible with the right tools and accountability.

It takes 2, bb. That means that if you’re goal in outsourcing your social media is to collaborate and co-create an amazing social presence, welp…you have a role in the outcome as well.

Here’s what we need to make your feeds a triumph:
✔️give proactive feedback and be honest. Retroactive feedback doesn’t do anyone any good.

✔️allow time for greatness. Your social media manager cannot be creative on command. Give them enough leeway to develop on-point strategy and content.

✔️allow yourself to be uncomfortable. Remember, you hired them for a reason. Take some risks and allow them to shine as experts.

✔️respect their off time. Communication is key but everyone needs to disconnect.

✔️be responsive. You need something to go live and we need you. You aren’t the only client, respectfully.

✔️understand how to measure success realistically for your brand…not someone else’s. Likes don’t matter. Neither do followers. What does success look like for you?

You have two choices:

1. You and/or your business go dark to take a moment of silence honoring those affected by it. No agenda, nothing.

2. You and/or your business get vocal about anything that affects our world, including global crises, humanitarian crises, racism, poverty, war crimes, the list goes on… You cannot pick and choose which to favor. In other words, if you stand up for some you must stand up for all because humans stand up for humans.

Only you know what’s right for your brand. There is no script.

Every entrepreneur has faced it. It’s paralyzing if we allow ourselves to over analyze social media marketing.

The only way to get over something is to go through it.

Here are 4 ways to change your perspective:
➕sounds obvious but don’t give up. Practice until you don’t need a script. With every failed piece of content comes progress.

➕tame the emotion by acknowledging it’s presence.

➕breathe. It’s social media. Don’t put so much weight on one piece of content that has a shelf life of 24 hours max.

➕learn from your failures and try again. Showing up on your social gets easier the more you do it.
