Good morning everyone!
There is a new podcast this morning over on my Youtube channel detailing all of the new and exciting changes coming for the 2025 Maverick.
Ford has really stepped up with this model year and implemented a lot of the major changes that everyone has been asking for in the past 3 years. I'm really excited to see some of the things they've added, especially the Tremor becoming it's own trim and the upgraded off road capabilities it now has.

Hey everyone, long time no see! Apologies for the lack of new content, I've been very busy. I'm back now though, and have a new video I just released over on my Youtube channel here: https://youtu.be/XnotMsZek8c

I've been looking for a portable firepit to take along on my adventures for quite a while now, so when a company called Flamurs Outdoor asked if I wanted to try out a new one they are developing I couldn't turn it down. Man, am I impressed with it. This thing is durable, convenient, and just plain awesome!

They'll have the firepit ready for sale this Fall (Sept-October timeframe), and I couldn't recommend it more. Great product.

I've been told my Maverick is "loaded down" with all the accessories and add-ons I have on it, but this guy I just spotted in Downtown Pensacola, FL wins the prize for sure.... that little XL is putting in some WORK!

Load looks maybe just a little sketchy to be taking out on the highway... but I'm not going to comment on that. I just love seeing someone use their Maverick for work!

Okay, seriously. The load looks pretty sketchy. But you do you 😂

Little bit of trail fun in the Maverick from the Apalachicola National Forest this past weekend. There were some deep ruts in the bottom of this puddle that got me stuck for a second the first time through, so this time I switched it to "Mud and Ruts" mode and it got right out without issue. First time testing that mode... I'd say it works pretty well.
I can't wait to start working on this full video, gonna be an awesome one!

Holy cow! Anyone try one of these out? Looks like your typical Chinese knock-off, but for those prices that's hard to argue with..

I enjoyed the Apalachicola National Forest so much last weekend that I decided to drive over and spend another night there this past Sunday.
This time I spent quite a bit of time exploring some of the trails, and got to really play around with some offroading in the Maverick. After the recent storm there was a fair amount of mud, and of course still a lot of the usual deep Florida sand but the truck did awesome.
I'm really impressed with what these little trucks are capable of. I can officially say now too, that the FX4 drive modes "Sand" and "Mud and Ruts" do make a huge difference in how the AWD system handles terrain. Really cool to see and test out!

This is the first round of pics from the trip, I'll have more as I go through my cameras and I'll have a banger video from this trip coming out eventually.. editing is gonna take some time for this one!

After the photos I posted the other day from my trip to the Apalachicola National Forest, I had a ton of people in different Maverick groups asking about the tent setup.
I just uploaded a new video showing off my tent (Yakima Skyrise HD) in better detail, and discussing the step-by-step process to setting it up and taking it down.

Soon I plan to film a full review of the tent as well, showing off every little detail and what my experience has been so far with it overall, so keep an eye out for that.

New video discussing how I mounted my Yakima Skyrise HD Rooftop Tent to the Xtrusion Overland XTR1 rack just uploaded to my YouTube channel.

I had some issues getting the tent mounted initially because the way that Yakima designed the tent's mounting system is only compatible with their own crossbars, or at least crossbars of a similar profile, and the clamps don't securly fit on the extruded aluminum crossbars of this style rack.
In the video I show you what I did to work around the issue and get the tent safely mounted to the rack, and I also discuss another Idea that I had to still allow the use of the quick-release clamps.

Hey everyone, I apologize for not creating any content for a while. I've been really busy!
Trying to get back into it though, and I have a new video currently uploading to my Youtube channel discussing the issues I had mounting my Yakima Skyrise rooftop tent to the Xtrusion Overland XTR! rack, and showing what I did to fix the problem. That video should be live later today.

I also have a couple other videos I plan to get filmed soon, and the family and I are planning a camping trip this next weekend that should result in an awesome video if all goes well. Stay tuned!

Messing around on some of the trails in the Blackwater State Forest in Northwest Florida today.
I've never explored much of the area, but after seeing it today I'd love to get back in there and do some camping soon.
