RSR002 features two undeniable cuts from Serbia’s Liquid master, Soul Connection. Over the years, Soul Connection has released his timeless productions on Soul Deep Recordings, Smooth N Groove Records, and was featured on Big Bud’s classic label, Sound Trax Records. “Dub Music,” leads off his offerings with its punchy drums, smooth pads, and ticking percussion. The song lives up to its name and pays homage to the Dub music genre, with its washed out reverbs and echoing efx, that softly drift off into the distance, as the lead sounds surge the composition forward. His second offering entitled, “Keep Me High,” takes a more Atmospheric approach, but encompasses the critical elements to work in any setting. The ethereal pads lead things off, and when the drop hits the Amen drums are introduced, which help elevate the tune to another level of greatness. The lead sounds fade in and out of the song, creating more interest and allowing the listener to feel the heart and soul of the tune.

DJ Blade has a sound that is much sought after amongst headz, and his following has continued to grow steadily over the past few years. His production style is distinctive, and has seen him have various releases on labels including, Good Looking Records, Fokuz Recordings, Soul Deep Recordings, Smooth N Groove, Liquid V, Think Deep, and Flight Pattern to name a few. Known for producing big anthems, and a prolific unreleased back catalogue die hard fans can only dream of owning. It is no surprise that Blade receives continuous heavy support from some of the top Deejays in the game, and the track 'China Town Womad' is currently being supported consistently by scene legend, LTJ Bukem.

With the infinite amount of music available, it’s easy to overlook songs that are deserving of our undivided attention and appreciation. Rhythm Syndicate Records, the brainchild of Soul Deep Recordings and Smooth N Groove Records, has been created to unleash the finest Deep, Soulful, and Jazzy Drum & Bass, and elevate the musical art to new heights. The label will feature an exclusive stable of artists that are at the cutting edge of the Drum & Bass landscape. The producers and their productions will be thrust into the spotlight with vinyl releases, solid social media advertising campaigns, frequent internet radio support, dedicated label website, and exclusive mailing lists, which will include some of the biggest Deejays in the industry.

Over the years, Soul Deep and Smooth N Groove have established their place in the Drum & Bass community, and created a following that thirsts for more musical masterpieces.
