There are two things in life more valuable than all else. Firstly, time. And secondly, good health - so that we’re able to lovingly and purposefully use that time. My experience with breast cancer has truly highlighted the significance of both.

During my journey I have come to the sad realisation that most of us do not truly acknowledge the power and importance of a mammogram. It could even be the difference between life and death.

I spoke to someone that I love yesterday and she told me that the reason she hasn’t gone for a mammogram in the last 15 years, is fear. I myself, only went for my first at the age of 50 after discovering my lump, instead of the recommended 40 years old. I was fortunate enough to have detected the cancer early, yet I still wish I had started going earlier and more regularly.

If you have gone for a mammogram, when last? If you haven’t, why not?

Is it fear? Is it a lack of knowledge?
What I know is that there is absolutely no reason good enough for you to roll the dice on your life.

And for that reason, I would like to offer my help to those of you who would like to go for a mammogram but for some reason can’t.

If you are afraid, I will hold your hand. If you need information, I will pass on my wisdom.

Let me know where you stand when it comes to mammograms.
I am here to help. Please inbox me or what's app me on 0761823141❤️.

Two years ago when my mother was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer I never quite knew how to truly feel. A single mother who has raised three kids on her own deserves better than this. How am I supposed to feel when the doctor tells you that an angel is mortal ? The person who was there for you in your happiest days and darkest days. My mother has shown me that cancer is just another obstacle that can be overcome just like other difficult problems.I've always enjoyed  watching movies seeing the greatest superheros taking on the biggest villains. I never knew that I was living amongst a superhero who is fighting one of the biggest villains in the form of a cancer. She has the greatest superpower that most people take for granted and that's love. It's one of the most scariest yet the most powerful things to behold. She embraces her cancer scar like it's a beauty mark. Don't let her smile fool you behind that smile there's a Goddess in the form of a human body. The most amazing thing is I'v seen the story unfold in front of my own two eyes.  So now two years later you ask me how I feel about my mother's cancer ?  All I have to do is look at her and my answer is quite simple...Peace

I'm so proud of you .art ,Mxolisi, self taught artist. On the 23rd of July you asked if I can email your teacher because you had decided that you want to switch subjects. You switched from accounting to art. Yesterday you told me there is an art competition you want to take part in. Little did I know that you are going to win it! Thank you to art gallery for the opportunity. I'm a proud mom. I love you Xoli ❤️🏆🖌️✏️
