Hey Gorilla Gang! Some updates:

We are sorting out orders for the Hawaiians. Things didn’t go as smooth as we planned but that’s life baby! With Joey back from tour he’ll be going through all orders to situate any sizing mishaps and getting the dice out to you! As well as the Gorilla Gang variant winners. Thanks for buying, we promise next year will go over a lot better and we’ll be doing it a LOT earlier. Luckily, still kinda warm outside so we hope you’re enjoying them.

XSPONGEXCOREX tests have been approved! We’re expecting them sometime in January-ish. If we got them sooner they’d be lost to the mailman so patience is appreciated as always, but they’re real. They’re happening, don’t worry!

Born A New tests have landed! We’ll be giving those a good listen this weekend.

As for artwork, everything else is approved and working for Acrania and FROMJOY.

We have an in hand release coming shortly as well as potentially 2 BIG releases for us personally on preorder. 2 incredible deathcore bands, small runs, big titles yall asked for. Yes, this is a BIG NEWS COMING SOON post cause it’s big and it’s soon!

We’ve been rocking out this record since the day it came out and it wouldn’t be in our usual fashion if we didn’t get it to your front door. If you bought a copy of It Lingers you’re in luck, it’s all the same classic great packaging and quality you’re used to. 250 copies only so make sure you’re not missing out on this one.

If you enjoy our pigment swirls we really think you’re gonna love this one as the colors should be close to one we’ve previously done! If you’re new, we always like to highlight the packaging options we provide. Poly lined inner sleeves shipped separated from your jacket so they don’t get messed up in transit. Sequential foil numbering, which is the total number of how many records made in the run and of course, poly sleeves so you don’t have to buy more for your self. THATS quality folks!

FROMJOY will have copies of It Lingers on tour before end of year, not a lot so make sure you buy one when they’re on the road.

Update time!

So if you didn’t hear is on tour with Underøath! They’ll have a limited number of these alt covers with the last remaining copies we pressed. Go out and see them this fall!

Hey, now, it’s our turn with Acrania!This project is absolutely monumental, 5 back to back tracks of straight brutality. If you were active in the scene 10 years ago, you knew how iconic Luke Griffin’s vocal style was at the time, some of the craziest pig squeals and an ability to juggle a variety of vocal ranges. This record is full of off the wall material, but you already knew that! 16 minutes of the craziest mind melting riffs, brutal drumming, and those legendary pig squeals that had a chokehold on everyone 10 years ago.

If you’re wondering, hey wasn’t there a 7” of this pressed a long time ago? You’re right, but why not BIGGER and that’s what we’re doing. Revamped art, foil stamped, lined inner sleeves, polybags, the usual shabang. Who also doesn’t love art that expands to the back cover? That’s right we got a whole 12x24 amazing piece of work here for you.

We’ve had the artwork reimagined by the legendary Mark Cooper over at MINDRAPEART. Mark poured so much care into this artwork, and it really shows. Huge thank you to Mark for delivering a magnificent recreation.

Delusional Parasitosis is in hand. Thanks again to everyone who came out for the drop! These will probably be shipping next week, because I have like, 1400 Psycho-Frame records to ship this weekend! Which brings us to #2!

Psycho-Frame is done. In my hands. Shipping right now. Yes, it is too late to change your address. Here is everything you need to know about PF:

- PF Social variant is shipping (you know why. I can’t take any nonsense from this crowd, I need these gone)
- Yes, the variant you received is correct.
- The jacket had the pressing amount of the FULL RUN not the variant you ordered. “Nik, this says it’s out of /1400 but I ordered the swirl it’s supposed to be out of /200” that is correct! Please! Please!
- Going out in groups. PVC will be next. Knocking out the big variant chunks. Sigs will be last.
- Only copies sold in the WV store, as a “WV drop” will come with the WV trappings. SGR, MG and Social variants will be their own things with their own stuff.

Speaking of! Meteor Gem and Silverback Gorilla Records each have their OWN variant this time around. MG will have OBI strips. SGR will have alts. These were announced along with the original preorder - that’s it! No represses. No more copies. Last chances. Of course the band will have some overrun that I’m sure they’ll sell at shows or whatever. But that’s it! Go buy from MG or SGR.

I just want to continue to reiterate. The original listing only said they would ship summer of 24. We are literally in August 2024. It all worked out, enjoy the records!

Last week, Silverback Gorilla Records and I donated the funds from the 10 Year Anniversary vinyl drop to a few places. Sorry it took so long to post, I’ve been packing up the anniversary shirts over the past few days which are all out in the mail as of now!

We donated a total of $5,593 through vinyl sales! The proceeds went to The Ocean Conservatory which helps with cleaning up and preserving the oceans in our world, The Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund who helps in protecting and studying gorillas, and the Albany Rock Pit which is a music school local to myself and one of the co-owners of Silverback Gorilla Records that helps children and teenagers towards their goals and dreams within in music industry.

I still have yet to calculate the exact donations over the years but from what I can gather on a quick mental calculation it’s somewhere around $20,000, if not more! So a massive xXTHANKXYOUXx is deserved to each and every person who has supported or helped project over the past decade and has helped make this world a better place for all of us even though we are just a tiny piece of the puzzle.

New Jersey heavyweights, are back with another highly anticipated release, “A Different You” - to be released August 30th. This record is packed with angsty aggression that lurks in the back corners of the mind. The material is a perfect blend of relentless riffs, crushing breakdowns, and relatable lyricism. This release also includes two notable guest features; Alex of Malevolence and Kyle of Brand of Sacrifice, who really serve it up in accentuating the band’s instrumentation. Just as Kyle tunes out, begins a refreshing break-core track, giving the listener a short reprieve before getting one last banger to end on.

We’ll be putting this release out on our classic style spread… what you’re used to! If you’re new here, this is what you’re getting: A desleeved vinyl in an anti-static inner sleeve, all inside a polybag. The jackets are gold foil numbered and pressed by some of the best in the industry, Gotta Groove Records. We’re looking at Q1 next year for shipping, giving time for the holiday season to end.
