Highlights from the exhilarating Singapore Airshow 2024 Flying Display.

This year’s edition features the largest number of foreign flying teams, including Royal Australian Air Force Roulettes, Indonesian Air Force’s Jupiter, Republic of Korea Air Force’s Black Eagles and for the first time ever Indian Air Force’s Sarang.

Commercial aircraft companies are also presenting their latest aircraft, with the A350-1000 making a return and the C919 making its debut.

RSAF is also showcasing its F-15SG and AH-64D Apache in an integrated display.

9V-TAZ? 9V-JSX? This particular airframe was delivered to Tiger Airways back in October 2011 and operated with the airline even through its merger with Scoot. She was withdrawn from service in July 2023 and joined Jetstar Asia in November as 9V-JSX.

She was well-known for being the last aircraft in TR’s fleet to bear the iconic “leaping tiger” livery during the merger. Well, we’re glad that she’s still with us in Singapore! 🐯

Configured with 436 seats, Cebu Pacific’s A333 spots a pretty dense configuration. However, their newer A339s are capable of carrying up to 459 passengers which is even more remarkable.

This particular A333 has since left the fleet and is due to enter service with US-Bangla Airlines. Cebu Pacific currently only has one A333 operating in the fleet, with the rest of the widebody fleet being A339s.

She’s probably part of the exhibit that you will see when you’re landing at Suvarnabhumi Airport, the long line of Thai Airways aircrafts just sitting on the tarmac, waiting for their fate.

Golf Foxtrot seen here operating as TG403 from Suvarnabhumi, looking spectacular as she heads towards gate C20. Bestowed with the name, Sri Ubon, she was delivered to Thai in October 2003 and was stored in Nov 2018. Isn’t she relatively young for a 747-400 pax? Only 20 years old!

Malaysian 606 being pushed back for Kuala Lumpur. Tango X-ray here wears a set of special stickers to promote Malaysia Tourism. Malaysia Airlines currently operates 6 of these A330-200s, all of them were from Air Berlin. Come 2024, A339s would be progressively delivered, replacing them and their -300s counterparts.

Sierra Kilo sits at Charlie 11 as she awaits for her pushback for a late night flight to Jakarta. Jetstar Asia will be moving to Terminal 4 next March after operating from Terminal 1 for 18 years.
