𝗧𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗡𝗔𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗗𝗘𝗧𝗔𝗜𝗟𝗦:
What: 4v4 Magic Chess Online Tournament
When:
• 1st Round – January 9, 2022 (128 teams)
• 2nd Round – January 10, 2022 (64 teams)
• 3rd Round – January 11, 2022 (32 teams)
• 4th Round – January 12, 2022(16 teams)
• Quarter Final Round – January 13, 2022 (8 teams)
• Semi-final Round – January 14, 2022 (4 teams)
Semis Group 1 – 7:30 PM
Semis Group 2 – 9:30 PM
• Final Round – January 15, 2022 (2 teams)

𝗧𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗡𝗔𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗨𝗖𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗠𝗘𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗜𝗖𝗦:
1. Tournament Type:
- Single-Elimination
- UNIQUE Commander in every game. No player in the team should have the same commander. In the event, that a team has two or more players with the same commander, that team is disqualified. Thus, the opposing team is the winner and will receive one (1) point.
- King of the Hill (KOTH) - the team with the member who tops or ranks 1st wins the game and gains 1 point.

2. All games will be played in a Best of Three (BO3) KOTH format. After a game, if both teams agreed, players may proceed immediately to the next game without waiting for the time stated below.
- 1st Game Assembly Time - 7:30 PM.
- 2nd Game Assembly Time - 8:15 PM.
- If there is a 3rd game, Assembly Time - 9:00 PM.

3. Players shall assemble in the in-game lobby at the designated time. Please refer to the timeslots stated above. Maximum of 15 Minutes Waiting Time. The team that is incomplete or not ready AFTER 15 Minutes will be disqualified. Thus, the opposing team is the winner and will receive one (1) point. If both teams are incomplete or not ready after the waiting time, both teams are disqualified and will receive 1 point (1-1). If a team is disqualified during the 1st game, they may play for the 2nd game as scheduled.

4. For Game 1, the team in the upper seed of the bracket will be the one to create the custom lobby to invite the other team captain. The losing team in Game 1 will be the lobby creator for Game 2 and the losing team in Game 2 will be the lobby creator for Game 3.

5. The one who created the lobby should send a screenshot in the respective chat group before starting the game and wait for the Marshall's go signal. *

6. Spectator: Only 1 registered member per team during the game. Designated streamers/casters are allowed.

7. Bans:
- Brown (Skill 3)
- Starfall Blade and Claude's Theft Device (CTD) equipped on Beatrix.

If a player used any of the bans mentioned above, the team of the said player will be disqualified. Thus, the opposing team is the winner and will receive one (1) point.

Lifted bans or any additional bans in commanders, equipment, and crystals will be announced before the tournament starts.
• No Hero bans.
• No Chessboard bans.
• No Rank requirement.

8. There will be no pauses to fix connection issues. There will be no Game Remake except for system error.

9. After each game, the winning team is required to send a Screenshot of the game results at their respective group chat WITHIN 10 MINUTES. Proceeding to the next game before sending the game result will make the team of the person responsible receive a warning.* No screenshot of the game result will make the game tied in which both teams will receive 1 point. No Screenshot of Game Result = 1-1. Please REPLY to the screenshot with the following: Team Name (score) vs Team Name (score)
Example: Team A (1) vs Team B (0)

10. Whoever’s team earns 2 points will advance to the next round. There are current bugs in Magic Chess. Whoever wins the game despite these bugs will be final.

11. Any changes to the team roster during the tournament will not be allowed.

12. Complaints and reporting of violations should be done within 10 minutes after the game. Reports that do not have evidence or proof will be ignored. Violations that are reported after the given time allowance will no longer be entertained. Thus, the initial game result will be declared as the final game result.

*The team that fails to comply with the rules stated above will receive a Warning. Two (2) Warnings received due to non-compliance with the rules will result in disqualification due to unsportsmanlike behavior.

𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗤𝗨𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦:
• Failure to appear in the game lobby on the agreed time and after the given time allowance.
• Dishonest or fake information.
• Duplicate players.
• Any form of cheating. Players who are caught using bans and abusing known game bugs.
• Unsportsmanlike behavior, which includes bad behavior, toxicity, rudeness, and an attitude problem in the tournament’s group chat, in the lobby, in-game, and in chat. Disrespect towards other players, tournament organizers, and marshals.

𝗡𝗢𝗧𝗘:
• Organizers serve the right to add, edit or delete certain terms of official rules and regulations for any reason. The said change will be effective with or without prior notice.

𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗦:
• Please be advised that changing players and updating of IGNs or IDs can be done only before the tournament starts. Any changes regarding the team will not be entertained once the tournament starts. We will only allow and accept changes until January 9, 2021 (12 Noon) Philippine Time.
