A REPORT WAS MADE TO THE STATION BY ONE KELVIN EDWARD A MERU MALE ADULT AGED 23 YRS A RETAIL SHOP OPERATOR WITHIN MADODO TRADING CENTER ABOUT 1.5 KMTS FROM THE STATION. HE REPORTED THAT HE BOUGHT SEVEN (7) BAILS OF AJAB BAKING FLOOR FROM ONE FATUMA ISSA AT KSH.11,900/-. ON REACHING HIS SHOP HE REALIZED THAT HE HAS BEEN CONNNED AND INSIDE THE PACKETS WAS SAND AND NOT AJAB WHEAT FLOUR. POLICE OFFICERS WERE DISPATCHED TO A RENTED HOUSE WITHIN ADERE AREA WHEREBY THE ACCUSSED FATUMA ISSA A KAMBA FEMALE AGED 40 YRS WAS ARRESTED WHILE PACKAGING SAND IN AJAB BRANDED PACKETS AND BALES. ALSO ARRESTED WAS HER MALE ASSISTANT BY THE NAME TONY MOKAYA A KISII MALE ADULT AGED 38 YRS. A TOTAL OF 240 PACKETS IN ONE KG QUANTITY WERE RECOVERVED. ALSO RECOVERED WERE 3 BALES ALL PACKED READY FOR DISTRIBUTION. TWO OTHER COMPLAINANTS HAVE MADE ADDITIONAL REPORT OF BUYING THE PARKED SANDS IN 15 BAILS. THE SUSPECT ARRESTED AWAITING TO BE ARRAIGNEMENT IN COURT. CASE PUI. DCI BANDALE DEALING.

Some years back, it was the most beautiful house in this community. The owner was the richest man in whom all looked up to for support. The vehicle was a cynosure of all eyes. It was like a dream come true when the owner added both house and vehicle to his list of possession. But today, the properties have grown old and in fulfillment of the natural law, must collapse for a new house to develop.

Should anyone be found living inside this building as it stands now, such a person is labelled as "insane" and must be kept at arm's length.

Nothing in life is worth fighting for. Your best clothes is someone's rag. Your account balance is someone's donation at a function. Your girlfriend/ boyfriend/ fiance/ fiancée is someone's ex. Every single pr******te you see in a hotel or on the street at night was at some point in time a virgin. So what is the squabble all about? Life is too small to feel bigger or better than anybody.

"We are all naked to death," says Steve Jobs. Nothing can save us from it. I hate to see people who brag about wealth, beauty, intelligence, level of education, fame and material possessions. There is nothing you have achieved in life that no one else has never gotten. There is only one thing that is worth bragging, which is: "Life in God Almighty". So, be good to your fellow man and always make friends. Always remember that the people you trampled upon on your way up a ladder will be the same set of people you are likely to pass on your way down.

So, cause no problem for others because if you do, they will become your very problem one day. Finally, even banana stems will one day become dried leaves. So, don't be driven by material possession. It will soon grow old and die.

Having love and like to playing football Racho was amoung 14 players who were selected from 8 different schools to play for primary school sub-count ball games in Bangale, this wasn't an end he was again selected to play county primary school ball games and today Sadik Racho has been chosen to reprent Tana River County in Nationals Primary School Ball Games.

A family of a 13-year-old girl who was defiled by a gang of five men in Garissa is seeking justice.

The men allegedly accosted the girl on Friday evening as she was coming back from a shop.

When she resisted, they grabbed and bundled her in a vehicle before speeding off.

Speaking to the press at the Garissa police station on Saturday, the standard six pupil who was visibly tired, shocked and frightened narrated her ordeal in the hands of the defilers.

“I had just bought milk at 6:20 pm from a shop which is not very far from our home when a vehicle slowed down as it came near me,” she said.

“The occupants lowered down the mirrors. One of them proceeded to greet me and I responded.”

She says after some seconds, four men came out of the same vehicle, grabbed and bundled her in.

“I even left my shoes behind. They took me to the bush and ordered me to remove my clothes, and when I tried to resist they threatened to kill me,” she said.

The girl’s mother who was too overwhelmed by the pain her daughter went through could not speak.

The family members expressed their anger saying that the perpetrators must be brought to book and be subjected to the rule of law.

Galmagala MCA Yusuf Omar said he was disappointed and angry at people defiling children in society.

“I am a very angry man and parent as I stand here today. I can’t imagine five men doing such a beastly act to such a young girl like this,” Omar said.

“It’s not only shameful but unthinkable. These individuals must be apprehended and be taken to court,” he added

He said that such incidents were on the rise in the town and called on the police to move with speed and enhance patrols.

A senior officer confirmed that the incident had been reported at the station and a medical report from a doctor had confirmed the claims.

He said that one person has already been arrested with the car that was allegedly used by the defilers already impounded by the police.

Afueni kwa wanafunzi wa secondari baada ya serekali kupitia wizara ya elimu kuwapa mapumziko(Mid term) ya siku tano. Kulingana na kalenda ya elimu ya muhula huu wa pili ambapo kikawaida yafaa kuwa muhula wa tatu, hapakuwa na Mapumziko(Mid term).

Shule za upili kuenda mapumziko ya katikati ya muhula mnamo Novemba 19 na kuripoti mnamo Novemba 23 baada ya wimbi la machafuko kukumba taasisi mbalimbali huku kukiwa na hali mbaya ya moto.

Waraka wa Waziri wa Elimu ya Msingi Julius Jwan na wa tarehe 1 Novemba unasema,

"Imeamuliwa kuwa mapumziko ya nusu muhula yataanza Ijumaa, Novemba 19, 2021. Wanafunzi wataripoti Jumanne tarehe 23 Novemba, 2021."

Shule zilifunguliwa tena kwa muhula wa pili mnamo Septemba 11 na iliratibiwa kuendelea bila kukoma kwa wiki 11 bila mapumziko ya katikati ya muhula.

Kwa usumbufu uliosababishwa na janga la Covid-19, kalenda ya shule ilikuwa imefanyiwa kazi upya ili kipindi kilichopotea wakati wa kufungwa kwa muda mrefu mwaka jana kiweze kurejeshwa.

Mnamo Jumatatu, Jumuiya ya Wakuu wa Shule za Sekondari nchini Kenya ilihusisha matukio yaliyoongezeka na kufungwa kwa muda mrefu kwa shule ili kudhibiti Covid-19 kati ya Machi 2019 na Januari 2020.

Haya yanajiri siku chache baada ya shule ya upili ya Buruburu kuteketea kwa mto, huku wanafunzi wakiruhusiwa kuenda nyumbani.
