Just like I don't profile teas, I do not profile humans.
When I first came into the Dao of Tea (Cha Dao), I asked, How can I learn everything I can about this art form and serve?
And the answer was and is always to drink Tea so that you can understand Her language, as many teas as you can possibly meet along the way, with an open heart and an open mind.
Along the years I have met many teas and also many judgemental minds. Judgement about methods. Judgement about teachers, qualities, utensils, teachings...
And it has given me many lessons and initiated me deeper into the many complexities that inform how colonisation of an ancient wisdom is very real, consciously done or not.
What colonisation looks like - taking. Constantly looking at "What can this get me?" With little to no intention to truly deepen into the culture and origin of the wisdom and practice, taking what feels palatable and disregarding the rest.
Sounds familiar? Mother Earth has pretty much been given the same treatment, and the feminine has been wounded because of the very same reason.
Red flags look like:
🚩 assessing whether you should invest in the course based on what you can get in return - coming from an exploitative mindset
🚩 a teacher who sells it as something you can learn and then sell to others, usually with a certificate of completion and an undertone of "so you can serve others".
This may be generalisation, but the point is that all spiritual practice is firstly a solo practice.
A solo practice for you to get clear on your own true nature first before everything else, including service to others.
If this struck a heartstring or two, know that this is not to guilt you into defensiveness. Maybe it will, but that is not my point.
The more important thing to know now is - it gets to stop at you.
And we can do better.
And no amount can trade the honest confrontation and clarity you can have with yourself.
When you see through this very illusion you will be set free.
I was sitting in a very simple Tea Ceremony today
Leaves, bowls, and hot water.
I lit candles and incense.
I wish that all women knew
How this is so non-negotiable, so naturally something to do
Before you overgive and become overwhelmed by the thousands of errands and requests and energy leaks.
The mind may argue:
You have no business sitting doing nothing with so much to do. You have to dash out of this. Okay maybe for 5 minutes. I can't sit still. I don't have time...
Hush...
The silence rises like still waters inundating your being.
And you begin to feel a luminosity in you
Giving birth, giving life to what is so divinely you.
Your busyness is an illusion
Created to stop you from accessing your greatness.
If you won't give yourself the time of the day to tune into yourself
Who will?
Even when divine signs are everywhere
Even when love is given to you
Tou won't even notice it
If you won't give yourself the time of the day
To fully
Wholly
Completely
Fall in love with your true nature again.
Cha Dao can guide you to the gates and give you the keys to unlock them

The cosmic energy that is pouring in as we descend is in full flow...

Cha Dao Tea Ceremony the Nara Smith version? 😉🍵🍃❤️
Last summer, I was walking through the sweeping landscape of the Fairy Pools in Isle of Skye when I heard the Goddess speak to me.
This is a voice that speaks not so much in words, but a silence that remains and expands in the heart.
Since then, I have been expanded in all the ways unimaginable.
The Way has chosen me and the only way ahead is to let the guard around my heart fall away and deeply surrender.
I was no longer partial to the belief that in order to get something I needed to work really hard.
I was no longer buying into old stories that felt like my power was to be sourced from outside of me.
In my willingness to drop away my resistance － and trust me, it took an ego death indeed － I walked right into the centre of my creative vortex, and continue to let the edges of the field expand.
And this is where we go in my mentorship spaces.
Quietude. Stillness. Rest. Intersubjective dialogues, non-verbal and verbal alike, no parts left behind.
When we see that all is divine, infinite in the finite, we begin to deepen into mastery of life as an ascension journey, spirit and matter as one.
When you embody your divinity fully, you go beyond duality to see the non-linear spiral of evolution and infinite loop of creation as the highest truth.
This is so much more than living a life you love.
Because that gets to happen of course... and when the Cosmic Mother returns to call you forth deeper, further into the sacred heart within, the calling awaits.
The sacred is awakened within through deep presence in the body.
This work takes us back and forth from unseen to seen realms and the knowing all is of one and the same Source.
The shimmering field expands and births something new when we come together with the willingness to create alchemy.

Currently feeling like I am coming out of a phase where I had undergone death v. 4.0 (totally lost count by now to be real honest).
This would take the form of a rollicking experience of my identity and purpose falling away, and with practice I have learnt by now not to rush it or hate it.
The discomfort is indication of consciousness heightening, old identity shedding to unveil the new.
I let the rebirth begin in its own time.
Because if you know what this is like, this is a powerful transformational state.
We come in as light through this crystalline prism of human experience and is expressed as us in a spectrum of rainbow colours that colour our own experience... and it continues in the infinite loop of creation.
Very much like how in quantum science what one observes is a particle or a wave!
Everything is happening for your evolution.
Through you cosmic wisdom streams at all times in all ways, as you.
What perspective the mind can take when consciousness is heightened determines how the process plays out.
And － to remain unswayed by what is happening externally is just the beginning of what is even possible.
