Cartoons and Health:

Too many hours of sitting in front of a screen watching cartoons can cause several health issues due to inactivity and a sedentary lifestyle. These include obesity, vision problems, and nutritional deficiencies due to bad food habits.

If parents/guardians don't get there kids to do any outdoor activities or exercise health problems can easily happen. Its good to get your kids active for their health and its a good bonding opportunity.

Cartoons and bad language:

Cartoons often have language that is unfit for children. Children are impressionable, and they may start using bad language that they learn from cartoons in real life. The bad words in kids shows are mainly crap, stupid, idiot, and even sometimes other words that are bleeped out but would you want your kids saying even the slightest bad word? That can easily develop into them saying worse words on the regular.

Researchers at the University of Michigan, Kaila Brooks and Brad Bushman, have found that:

-2-5 years old children watch cartoon 32 hours a week

-6-11 years old, 28 hours

-71% of children aged 8-18 years have a separate TV set

-53% of children aged 7-12 are watching TV without parental supervision.

While watching cartoons, children often identify themselves with the characters. The problem is that these characters are usually inappropriate for any identification, since they are too aggressive, gay or have supernatural powers. Without the supervision of the parents, who will explain the difference between reality and fiction? Children can use cartoons as a substitute for real life. This can easily be a threat for the child’s psychological development.

Experts from the American Academy of Paediatrics (AAP) say that kids who watch cartoons full of violence tend to be nervous, aggressive, disobedient, and impatient.
There are three main effects of cartoons that concern violence on children:

-They become insensitive to others’ pains and sorrow

-They do not feel discomfort from any elements of violence around them in real life

-They are prone to aggressive reactions and violent behavior.

Since children's mind at a young age are like sponges, they're more likely to copy and act out what they have seen on TV. If its violence, they'll become more violent and disobedient, if its stupidity, they'll act more silly, if there's slight sexual innuendos, which more cartoons have now, they'll act that out as well.

I know a lot of parents have their kids sit in front of the TV watching cartoons when their busy doing their own thing. Its a way to get the kids to calm down and be still. The problem with this is that the cartoons kids are watching now have no morals or educational message the kids can learn from and so many of these shows are fast paced which have very negative impact on the kids subconscious mind, behavior and attention span.

Hail Suppression:

There's not much information on the type of weather modification but when it comes to hail there's a principle that hail can be prevented if the atmosphere is flooded with nuclei on which moisture can condense and freeze. The more nuclei present, the less likely large pieces of ice (hail) are to form.

Fog And Cloud Dispersal:

The method used for cloud seeding can also be used for the removal of clouds and fog. This process is done by the use of dry ice as a seeding agent causing water droplets in fog to condense on ice crystals which then precipitates out of the air.
