So back in 2014, I released a jam called ‘Phase Seq One’ on label via hook up and eventual remix (the kick drum on this remix is ridiculous btw for those who steal wicked kick drums, cheers Marea! ☝🏽)

This release seemed to go over well and ultimately led me meeting over at house (sure was there too - big ups to both!) 👊🏽

Anyway, I found Scott to be like a big brother who REALLY schooled me on the music business, how to craft and sell records while totally broadening my whole outlook as dj, producer and as a human - my thanks are perpetual 🙏🏽

So was created for in 2016 and remains one of my favourite releases with the lead track ‘Make Your Move (Pressure)’ ft amazing vocals now featuring on the best of VA being released Friday 1/12/23 on and major streaming platforms 💚

so I wanted to share some statistics of my own to focus further upon the media in the US and address crucial issues regularly and disdainfully ignored in the UK such as , , and through the prism of

as always I thank the elders who laid the solid ground for 3rd gens like me to speak truthfully to power

And to Preston movement for allowing me to become involved, creating a safe environment where our true peaceful, multicultural unity can seen, felt and heard.

local update on the next demonstration which will be held on Sunday 14th June from 3pm with a STRICT insistence that masks be worn and social distancing adhered too.

this demonstration is very much about and yet we are very much shining a forensic light upon the and their perpetual struggle for justice and equality.

we aim to use this platform (as well as our digital avatars)

1) to gain equality and stop the undercurrent of racism

2) for people to connect with others in solidarity of Black lives mattering

3) to use our voices to promote peaceful, empowering and inspiring activism

4) creating a safe space for the opportunity to heal from historical injustice and racism

‘you have fu**ed with the last generation’ ✊🏽

a truly defining moment in our country war against its own history.

a history built on the blood of African slaves. a history that celebrates the empire. a history where migrants from the commonwealth have been illegally deported and have died as a result of the . a history where stood with john terry and mark sampson against anton ferdinand and eni aluko.

this isn’t a culture war, it’s a battle to control the historical narrative as seen with both sides of the major sides condemning the violence suggesting this should have been tackled in a democratic way.

this suggests beyond the veneer of left/right politics, there always lies the same message.

if the people don’t like the song (whether it be radical socialism or unabated n**i fascism and all points in between), we’ll change the singer.

shame for the people who cynically promoted and profiteered historically and currently trotting this well constructed message because we are just about to change the whole fu***ng band.

we, in Preston and far beyond stand with George Floyd and all other victims of police brutality.

to see so many people there (social distanced as best as possible) fully united was a testimony to the spirit of our people.

massive thanks to and for curating the event at such short notice and most importantly - to all our speakers ranging from elected politicians like to civilians like myself and (and Gemma Archer - an inspiring host on a morbid subject ❤️)

understanding of the system and how it works as/for a white person is a fundamental part of the process..
