We have all had Covid scares this month and thankfully we’ve all been negative, but we will have a special episode coming up. Today The New York Times updated their monitoring data regarding the coronavirus outbreak and has ranked Athens, TN as the #1 city in the United States where Covid-19 cases are increasing the fastest with Cleveland, TN coming in 2nd.

Hey there!

You may have noticed we took a break this past week and didnt post a chat in the valley. Due to the recent COVID spike, we decided to make sure we were all clear to meet in person and took the break time to reconfigure our prouduction schedule.

Our new release day will move to Mondays in starting in December moving into 2021. We also have been working on new segments to bring some new life to social subjects.

Thank you so much for staying tuned and supporting our collective adventure in exploration of American culture. We created this podcast to Spark a conversation among communities to assist in the healing necessary to bring unity to our humanity.

We had the amazing opportunity of meeting Meg Gorman twice and being able to interview her about pressing topics. The truth is, she fought a hard campaign and for her, a loss doesn’t mean the end. There are many more opportunities for the community to get to know Meg, and we look forward to being able to meet and speak with her again soon! This is only the beginning! Thank you again, !

The past five months have been the most meaningful of my life. I’ve never been more proud of our district, and my home, as I am now, watching East Tennesseans show up in record numbers to vote for the future of our country.

To everyone I’ve had the joy of meeting during this short time: Thank you for believing in a better Tennessee. Thank you for giving yourselves to this fight for change. And thank you for trusting me to lead that change in our communities.

While we lost our battle, I’m hopeful that through our organization, action, and record-breaking Democratic votes, we have shown our representative that this district is diverse and changing.

Through growth or democracy, I am confident that we will continue to push forward and gain the leadership needed to strengthen our communities and improve lives across our district and nation.

Just as this is your home, it’s mine too. And rest assured, I’m not going anywhere.
