Emphasizing ethical service, accountability, and responsiveness, it prepares graduates for technical, administrative, executive, and policy-making positions, with a commitment to serving marginalized communities.

🔵The Bachelor of Science in Information Systems (BSIS) program, a four-year degree, focuses on designing and implementing computer-based systems to improve business processes. It trains IT professionals in business process analysis, systems integration, and quality assurance, combining technology with managerial skills.

On March 6, 1965, Presidential Proclamation No. 374 declared May 28 as National Flag Day to commemorate the first unfurling of the Philippine national emblem after the Revolutionary Army's victory at the Battle of Alapan, Imus, Cavite, in 1898. This historic moment marks a significant victory in the struggle for independence from Spanish rule.

In 1994, Executive Order No. 179 extended the celebration period from May 28 to June 12, which is Philippine Independence Day. During this time, Filipinos are encouraged to display the Philippine flag in offices, government agencies, businesses, schools, and private homes. Central Mindanao Colleges invites all students, faculty, and staff to participate in this extended celebration to foster greater national pride and unity.

At Central Mindanao Colleges, let us proudly display the flag throughout our campus to honor the sacrifices made for our nation's independence and celebrate our collective spirit.

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has declared June 17, Monday as a regular holiday to give way for the observance of Eid’l Adha, or the Feast of Sacrifice.

Proclamation No. 579 signed by Executive Secretary Lucas P. Bersamin on June 4 stated that Eid’l Adha is one of the two greatest feasts of Islam.

The proclamation also stated that the declaration of regular holiday on June 17 was made upon the recommendation of the National Commission on Filipinos based on the 1445 Hijrah Islamic Lunar Calendar.

Under Republic Act No. 9848, the 10th day of Zhul Hijja, the 12th month of the Islamic Calendar, is a national holiday for the observance of Eid’l Adha, with a movable date. | PND

World Environment Day, observed annually on 5 June, is the largest international day dedicated to environmental awareness and action. Initiated in 1973 and led by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), this day has become the foremost global platform for environmental outreach, celebrated by millions worldwide.

In 2024, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will host the event, with a thematic focus on land restoration, desertification, and drought resilience. These themes align with the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration (2021-2030), which emphasizes the urgent need for protecting and reviving ecosystems globally. This initiative is essential for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

World Environment Day provides an opportunity for Central Mindanao Colleges to join the global community in promoting environmental awareness and action. As Eco Warriors, our CMCian community can lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to sustainable practices and environmental stewardship.

Koronadal City, Philippines – May 29, 2024 – Central Mindanao Colleges (CMC) proudly participated in the Gabi ng Parangal event hosted by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Region XII, held at The Farm @ Carpenter Hill in Koronadal City. The event was a highlight of CHED’s 30th Anniversary and the 4th Higher Education Week, celebrated in the month of May 2024.

In a significant recognition of its contributions to higher education, CMC received a Plaque of Recognition from the Commission on Higher Education Regional Office XII. This award acknowledges CMC’s exceptional achievement in securing Level III Accreditation for multiple academic programs, including: Master of Arts in Education, with majors in Educational Administration, English, Math, Science, Filipino, and Social Studies (Accredited by ACSCU-ACI); Bachelor of Science in Criminology (Accredited by ACSCU-ACI); Bachelor of Elementary Education (Accredited by ACSCU-ACI); Bachelor of Secondary Education, with majors in Mathematics, English, Science, Social Studies, and Filipino (Accredited by ACSCU-ACI); Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with majors in Financial Management, Marketing Management, and Human Resource Development Management (Accredited by ACSCU-ACI) and other CMC Academic programs.

In addition to this honor, Ms. Helna D. Sumugat, CMC’s Higher Education Registrar, was recognized as the Most Active and Cooperative Registrar in Region XII. This accolade, awarded by CHED Region XII, highlighted Ms. Sumugat’s dedication, hard work, and exceptional commitment to excellence in her role. Her contributions have significantly enhanced the efficiency and effectiveness of CMC's operations, setting a high standard for registrar services throughout the region.

Davao City, Philippines - Central Mindanao Colleges (CMC) reaffirmed its commitment to excellence in business education with a presence at the 23rd Annual National Conference organized by the Philippine Council of Deans and Educators in Business (PCDEB). Held from April 24-26, 2024, at the Grand Menseng Hotel in Davao City, Philippines, the conference served as a platform for academic discourse under the theme "Embracing Educational Transformation Ecosystem in Reshaping the Modern Business Education."

Dr. Maria Regina E. Carlos, Dean of the CMC College of Accountancy and Business Management Education, emerged as a participant in shaping discussions on innovative approaches to business education. Alongside educators, industry experts, and stakeholders, Dr. Carlos offered insights aimed at enhancing the quality of business education delivery.

The conference sessions included topics such as data-driven decision making, entrepreneurship education, industry-academe collaboration, globalization of education, leadership in curriculum development, and empowering educators as leaders. There were also plenary speeches, networking opportunities, and awarding ceremonies throughout the event.

Reflecting on her participation, Dr. Carlos remarked, "Collaborating with academic peers and industry leaders to explore progressive strategies for business education was truly inspiring. The knowledge gained from this conference will directly inform our efforts at CMC to equip our students with the skills needed to thrive in today's dynamic business landscape."

The CMC Collegiate General Assembly convened on April 13, 2024, at the CMC Student Activity Center, with an objective to equip the Graduating Class of 2024 with indispensable insights and preparations for their impending commencement and beyond.

Chaired by the officers of the Graduating Class of 2024, the assembly engaged in relevant discussions encompassing vital topics such as graduation requirements, financial obligations, and proposed calendar of activities tailored to the unique needs of the Graduating Class of 2024.

Attendees were briefed on rehearsal schedules and key commencement details, including the date and venue. The assembly highlighted CMC Collegiate's steadfast commitment to facilitating a smooth transition for its graduating students as they embark on their post-graduate journey.

With CMCs dedication to nurturing and empowering its students for success, the General Assembly served as a testament to CMCs enduring values.

Central Mindanao Colleges (CMC) recently took a significant step towards promoting global connections by participating in an orientation hosted by the "With the World" Organization on April 12, 2024. The event served as a prelude to CMC's forthcoming Online International Exchange Program, demonstrating our institution's commitment to providing students with enriching cross-cultural experiences.

Led by Ms. Mary from "With the World," the orientation provided invaluable guidance to CMC's 25 participating students from both the Senior High School and College departments, as well as faculty members and the Director for the Center for International Affairs and Linkages.

Dr. Mark Gennesis B. Dela Cerna, Director of the Center for International Affairs and Linkages at CMC, emphasized the institution's unwavering dedication to promoting understanding and excellence in education. "The dedication of the 'With the World' Organization has been instrumental in the success of this initiative, and for that, we are sincerely grateful," added Dela Cerna.

The Online International Exchange Program presents CMC students with a unique opportunity for personal and academic growth. Through the engagement in Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL), students will not only expand their academic horizons but also Create Meaningful Connections with peers worldwide. COIL's capacity to advance cross-cultural understanding and collaboration equips CMC students with the skills necessary for success in an increasingly interconnected world.

As CMC celebrates 77 years of excellence, it remains steadfast in its mission to enrich lives through education, poised to make a meaningful impact on a global scale.
