It’s 2023, this is the year I release my documentary about the Sheffield City Council Cafcass South Yorkshire Police and other local agencies. I’ve taken my own story and linked up with loads of professionals, former professionals and members of the public in Facebook groups etc to ask the question if agencies are corrupted or is it lack of general knowledge or action by the public which causes a mess in the system.

Thousands of pages of documents, hours of body camera footage, audio recordings and a long list of other materials have been used to make this which is why it’s taken me near 3 years to get this far. All of this has had to be converted and adapted for public use to protect individual peoples data and other sensitive information without impacting the fact telling of the documentary.

Mad excited for this as it is one of my first independent project as I move to try level up my content creating. This means you have to self fund projects to then self release or self to a streaming platform. So much more work goes into this stuff than people realise but I’m hoping the end product will be well received

The corporate ‘exposing’ topic seems to be the next hype after other movements over the years so I’m hoping I caught the timing right for this project 🙏🏾🙏🏾

1 thing I can say is, not everything is how people think 🤔

Sheffield Springs Academy has become famous now init. The new head teacher has clearly gotten off to a fantastic start in making changes and building community relationships 😂😂😂

I had a teacher tell my son he’s excluded then not excluded then another said stay home for the day and go back tomorrow to then demand he goes back immediately or he’s excluded. I’m all for policy and procedure but at least communicate the changes with enough time for parents to react lol.

Teacher “did you not get the email over Christmas about all the changes” well no, no I didn’t mainly because I you didn’t send me one but ok.

“Well, we have a grace period so thag eberyone can get used to the changes” so why is everyone getting punished for stuff they didn’t know and you got half the school crammed into a room?

“Yeah I agree we need to take learning from this” I can’t even!! 🤣🤣🤣

As for rules that have been there from day dot, then yeah, y’all should know better by now 😅😅😅

Sheffield, you didn’t let me down on Saturday.
The mix of people, generations, fathers, mothers and their now legally aged young ones all vibing together. No baby momma baby father dramas, any personal tensions left at the door, ALL music genres played with no issues.

I don’t want to hear no talk from local councils and authorities. MUSIC AND TALENT IS NOT THE PROBLEM!!! Whack security, bad attitude venues and people with no experiences in the wrong positions is the big problem.

We keep the momentum going and on to the next one to keep his vibes going. Y’all lot made me proud so let me try turn this up another level with the team 👊🏾🙏🏾❤️🤗🙌🏾🍿💯

I’ll be honest, I really really dislike how some venues treat the scene and culture in Sheffield. It’s almost like you play the community against each other to keep your pockets greased!!

Someone with a similar drive to me comes along and is a real pain in the backside but I don’t care because more doors need to be open and more entertainment and career options for people. For all the money you stack, you can’t give back no?

Venues need to stop alienating communities from their establishments while still profiting off our culture and sound!!

Shout out the venues already supporting but I want to see more promoters and talent getting opportunities in the city centre in 2023 and stop making excuses that they attract ‘that crowed’ when they in your venues anyway. How about you improve your facilities and security?????

Stop judging people based on how they look kmt!!!

I think by now, it has been proven so far Dancehall, Amapiano, Bassline, Hip Hop and other ‘violent’ music is not violent but a damn vibe in the right circumstances, quantity and delivery. There has been more beefs at other culture events from 2017-2022 than any other events so at this stage, excuses are running out for authorities. Men lie, women lie, numbers don’t!

For example, Temple gets slammed for Dancehall, Bassline and Drill music, very little to zero issues. However, there are a FEW venues in the smack bang centre of the city that play the same music and have multiple issues every week!!
Which culture and community gets blamed for it all though? 👀👀

Statistics say that actually, if you want to listen to music of black origin, Queens Road is safer than most venues in the city centre. In some areas, such as bar management, it’s actually a lot cleaner as well (if you know you know lol) 🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️

We can all do more so let me try lead by example if I can. Stop blaming people in the community for lazy venues and owners!!

SHEFFIELD….. LET THE OTHER PROMOTERS AND TALENT THEOUGHT THE DOOR IN 2023!!!!! 👊🏾🙏🏾❤️
