Happy Beltane to those who celebrate🌸

Beltane: fertility, abundance, growth, creativity, love, lust, passion, pleasure, purification, sensuality, self-worth, inner power and union.

Some Beltane practices:

1. Bonfires: Bonfires represent the return of the sun. Many people gather around the fire to dance, sing, & celebrate.

2. Maypole: A tall pole is erected and decorated with flowers and ribbons. People hold onto the ribbons and dance around the pole, weaving the ribbons together.

3. Feasting: Beltane is a time of abundance, and feasting is a common way to celebrate. People often gather to share food and drink, and to give thanks for the blessings of the season.

4. Flower crowns and garlands: Flowers are a symbol of the new growth and fertility of spring. Many people wear flower crowns or make garlands to decorate their homes and altars.

5. Rituals and ceremonies: Beltane is a time for ritual and ceremony, and many use this time to honor the divine feminine, the earth, and the fertility of the land.

6. Set Up an Altar: Set up a Beltane altar and fill it with the symbols of springtime and things that represent fertility, rebirth, and awakening.

➖Flowers — Spring flowers/wild flowers

➖Candles — Aim for candles in spring colors or floral scents.

➖Colors — Red, green, yellow/gold

7. Prepare a Basket
In days past, as April rolled to an end, people would gather flowers and small goodies to put in May baskets to hang on the doors of friends, neighbors, and loved ones on May 1.

8. Prepare a Beltane Feast When people wonder how to celebrate Beltane, one of the easiest things is to cook a meal. Celebrating Beltane with a feast for family and/or friends is a wonderful way to honor this special time of year.

Practices to help you connect to the magic of Spring:

• Kiss a flower today 🌸
• Hug trees and leave them words of support and love.
• Look for sprouting flowers and cheer them on.
• Plant native seeds and Trees.
• Clean up garbage off the land.
• Go foraging with a friend.
• Play outside even if you are an adult. Find ways to bring your inner child out.
• Sweep and mop your porches or outside of your door.
• Wash your doors.
• Start cleaning up your indoor plants.
- Change the soil if needed. Repot if needed.
• Ground. Take your shoes off and get them dirty with Earth's medicine.
- walk on grass (smoke grass 💨 optional 😌)
• Buy a birdfeeder and help feed native birds
• Plant wildflowers to help little helpers like bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds.

Happy Spring Equinox! 🌸

Mini rituals to try:

• Write a letter to Winter. Saying your goodbyes. Thank Winter for the lessons and wisdom it brought you.

• Start to set your intentions for the year ahead. Vision board away ✨

• Set boundaries with yourself. What do you want to release, let go of? Sit in a quiet place outside in nature if able if not find some sunlight and sit quietly while yourself and have an inner conversation. Be honest with self.

• Intentional gardening. Sow your seeds and set intentions for those seeds. What makes a magical garden is deeply intentional.

- Tomatoes 🍅 grow abundant for example and are great climbers. Set intentions of abundance and growth in your tomato seeds for any area of your life.

• Spring cleaning is a great way to move stagnant energy and welcome the new ✨

• Set an Altar or freshen up your current one with Spring colors, flowers, and decor. 🌸
