It's all about your customers. Nobody cares about your service or product because chances are there's a bunch of other businesses offering the same thing as you do. Make deeper connections with your target audience rather than just selling them your products. Make a customer, not a sale.

You can target 30 year olds, living in California interested in skateboarding, and cats. Facebook is a data monster and you can leverage it's laser focused targeting options to reach your potential customers.

Although, it is recommended that you start with a wider audience generally and narrow it further based on the response on your ads.

People don't buy for logical reasons. They buy for the emotional one's.
Humans are emotionally driven being and to make meaningful connections, you need to tap into their emotions while selling.

While running top of the funnel ads to a broad audience, when you're trying to spread awareness/grab attention for your brand or product, you want to make sure you connect your product/brand with the underlying emotions that might come as a result when a customer starts using your product.

Don't focus on the features and technicalities a lot, although it is important to justify how your product is better than the others in the market, you should be focusing on tapping into their emotions and using the features/technical aspects of your products to logically define the purchase in your customers' head.

Planning to scale your campaigns to the moon?
Scaling might be every store owner's dream, to generate more sales for your store, rake in more profits by spending more on your Facebook ads, but it's not as easy as it might sound.

If you see an ad-set performing well, it's good to get excited but make sure your don't 2x or 3x your ad budget instantly because you might risk throwing off the algorithm, hurting your ad-sets learning and the results you're getting at the moment. Instead try increasing budgets slowly.

Once you find a winning ad-set, you shouldn't just stop at that. Instead, you should be branching out and testing new avenues, unlocking new territories you can tap into.

As a business owner, you need to know the pain points, the grievances and the exact problems that bother your customers. You should know what they're passionate about, what kind of content they consume and interact with. That's how you should be structuring your content to connect with your target audience. Use the right channels to distribute your content where your audience hangs out. With the right mix of good content (fire) and the right platform (gasoline), you can explode your engagement and inturn sales.
