I saw this post and thought I would share. Just because people don't know your value and may think you are a waste of investment doesn't create your valuation for your future. In September 2000, Blockbuster could have bought Netflix - but Blockbuster’s CEO thought it was a joke and laughed them off.

A former Blockbuster executive was quoted as saying:

"We had the option to buy Netflix for $50 million and we didn't do it. They were losing money. They came around a few times."

Netflix is now worth over 260 billion and Blockbuster ended up filing for bankruptcy.

THE 3 TYPES OF PEOPLE IN YOUR LIFE!

1. The Leaf People
2. The Branch People
3. The Root People

LEAF PEOPLE: These are people who come into your life just for a season. You can't depend on them because they are weak. They only come to take what they want, but if the wind comes they will leave.
You need to be careful of these people because they love you when things are okay, but when the wind comes they will leave you.

BRANCH PEOPLE: They are strong, but you need to be careful with them too. They break away when life becomes tough and they can't handle too much weight. They may stay with you in some seasons, but they will go when it becomes harder.

ROOT PEOPLE: These people are very important because they don't do things to be seen. They are supportive even if you go through a difficult time they will water you and they are not moved by your position they just love you like that.

It's not all the people you meet or all of your friends, that will stay with you. Only the root type of people will stay no matter the season!

“And not being weak in faith, He did not consider His own body…He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.” (Romans 4:19-21)

Abraham, who is known as our father in the faith, had many obstacles coming against the promise of God in his life. God told him that he would be “the father of many nations.” Abraham was over ninety years old before he ever saw that promise begin to come to pass. This Scripture tells us that He didn’t consider his body. He didn’t think and meditate on all the reasons why he couldn’t be the father of many nations. No, he considered and thought about the strength and ability of God! He thought about God’s faithfulness and gave praise and glory to Him. The faith that Abraham exercised opened the door for God to do mighty things in and through Him. Today, what are you believing God for? Does it seem impossible? Sometimes there’s no logical reason to have hope. There may be many reasons your situation will never work out. Consider your God. Consider His Word. Consider His faithfulness. Just like Abraham, you’ll grow strong in faith as you give glory to God. Trust Him today and experience the victory He has in store for you tomorrow!

Prayer this today...

Father, thank You for Your faithfulness and strength at work in my life today. I choose to consider Your ability over my circumstance. I choose to trust You and give You praise, honor and glory, now and always in Jesus’ name. Amen.

I want to remind a few people today that you have treasures in YOU. Sometimes our outer don't look pretty, but inside is priceless. Inside are lessons learned, inside are wise deposits...

“But we have this treasure in earthen vessels…” (2 Corinthians 4:7)

You have many treasures buried deep inside of you—gifts, talents and abilities that you don’t even know about yet. But the greatest treasure within you is the Spirit of God. You carry the treasure of God in an earthen vessel! He’s also deposited treasures on the inside of you that are tied to your purpose. By His Spirit, you will discover that God has fully equipped you for everything you need in this life. We have to draw out those treasures inside of us by what we speak and what we believe. We stir up the gifts by praying in the Spirit. Don’t let those treasures lie dormant. Seek God and follow His leading. Dig deep, stir it up and move forward in the destiny God has in store for you!

Pray THIS OUT LOUD...

Father, thank You for choosing to live inside of me. Show me the treasures You have deposited within me so that I can fulfill Your purposes for me all the days of my life in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Stop living in religious bo***ge...

I saw a post that said demons tremble at His name, it's time for the church to.

Well my thoughts in this one is the presence for believers is supposed to be convicting, but filled with joy, peace, love, power, etc. We should honor His presence and reverence His presence. But we shouldn't be in His presence as if we are in the principles office awaiting a moment of corporal punishment. His presence should be something we desire to be in. I read stories of the unrighteous running or hiding from His presence. Adan and Eve hid from His presence because they were out of order. Cain exiting His presence because he was out of order and entered the land of Nod, which means wandering. Out of His presence we are wanderers. We have too many preaching Christ as angry doom and gloom and a wave of people in religious bo***ge. We were not called to go from the world's bo***ge to another form of bo***ge. Yes we should have a fear of the Lord, but that's a holy reverence, not an I am about to get in trouble because of something. God looks at us and sees Jesus. A really good book to read is titled "Jesus came out of the tomb". I don't support everything about the book, but there are some really good principles that made me analyze my view of my Savior.

There is so much I can say about this. But I ended with this. You are emancipated from bo***ge according to 2 Corinthians 3:17

a. Ambition a person has to accomplish things to glorify
themselves – to satisfy themselves – selfish in nature –
unconcerned with the negative impact that comes with a
selfish ambition
2. Godly Ambition
a. Desires God put inside our hearts
b. Holy ambition to fulfil those desires that He puts in our
hearts
c. All ambition is not evil
d. Question: what kind of ambition do I have? Godly or Fleshly
ambition
i. There are natural indicators to determine which
ambition you have…
1. When I have an ambition for something –
who am I primarily focusing on
2. Discernment requires ‘honesty’
3. Prerequisite for honesty is self-awareness
4. Worst kind of deception is self-deception –
thinking they are in a certain place and they
aren’t
ii. When I’m thinking about this dream, vision,
assignment – is it me? How am I going to look? Is it
truly about others?

Jesus’ blood utterly wipes away the past. Whatever we did before Christ is buried by God forever. As far as God is concerned, the past is irretrievably gone and forgotten!

In Ephesians 1:7, the apostle Paul stated this glorious truth of forgiveness when he wrote, “In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace.” The word “forgive” is the Greek word aphiemi, which means to permanently dismiss, to liberate completely, to discharge, to send away, or to release. It was used in New Testament times to mean to cancel a debt or to release someone from an obligation of a contract, a commitment, or a promise. It means to forfeit any right to hold a person captive to a previous commitment or a wrong he has committed.

So when Paul used this word in Ephesians 1:7 to describe the forgiveness of sins, he was saying that God has permanently dismissed our past sins from us. We are liberated completely from them. He has discharged them from us; He has sent them away; and He has released us from them. The debt we once owed due to past transgressions is canceled, and God has freed us from the guilt of those previous actions. Because the blood of Jesus was shed for the payment of our sin, God has forfeited any right to hold us captive for that which we have already received forgiveness.

PRAYER FOR TODAY
Lord Jesus, words fail to express the depth of my gratitude for Your precious blood and for the price You willingly and completely paid to cancel all the debt from my past sin and actions. Your grace toward me is more than I can comprehend, but today I must stop to say THANK YOU for displaying Your amazing grace toward me!
I pray this in Jesus’ name!

CONFESSION FOR TODAY
I confess that I am completely forgiven. God has liberated me completely, discharged, sent away, and released me from all of my sin, which He has forgiven. By the blood of Jesus, my debt has been cancelled and I have been released from it. Neither the devil, others, nor I have the right to hold me captive to a previous wrong. I am totally and completely forgiven!
I declare this by faith in Jesus’ name!

Matthew 26:37–39 (NKJV): 37 And He took with Him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and He began to be sorrowful and deeply distressed. 38 Then He said to them, “My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here and watch with Me.”
39 He went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.”

When God asks you to strike out into uncharted territory and accomplish something new and difficult, it can be challenging to bring your will into compliance with what He is asking you to do. Your mind will try to argue as if it knows best, and your flesh will try to drag its feet every step of the way. In these moments, you are faced with a defining moment in your life when you must place your trust in God’s plan for your life and obey Him unconditionally.

• How am I building my marriage?
Based on what I am doing today, will my marriage flourish or perish?
• How am I building my children?
Will my children pass the tests of life because of what I am putting into them?
• How am I building my relationships?
Am I building my relationships so they can stand up against any storm?
• How am I building my ministry?
Am I doing a lot of “quick fixes” that aren’t real solutions to problems in my ministry, or am I taking time to build my ministry right so it will last a lifetime?
• How am I building my business?
Will the steps I am taking today build a long-term business, or will I later regret that I didn’t make longer-lasting decisions?

Marriage Hack

Genesis 2:24 ESV
Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.

Therefore = on the ground of, according to, on account of, on behalf of, concerning, beside, in addition to, together with, beyond, above, over, by, on to, towards, to, against.

When reading scripture it is always important to look at context, audience, what's being addressed and why. Analyzing scripture properly will help us all understand the word in a more complete manner how to apply it and how it is to affect our lives. This is the first mention of relationship between man and woman and should serve as a principle of connection and loyalty.

Prior to this particular scripture is Adam's description of his wife (woman) coming from or out of him. In the same way a bond is with a parent and a child. The seed initially came from the father and the child was birthed out of the mother. There is a particular bond that children are to have with their parents traditionally. Mothers are first to nurture. Father and mothers are the first to offer security, growth and love. This scripture expresses man should have a similar bond with his wife. A similar bond should be transitioned (leave) from parents and cleave to wife.

Leave = to depart from, leave behind, leave, let alone.
Cleave = to cling, stick, stay close, cleave, keep close, stick to, stick with, follow closely, join to, overtake, catch

The principle here is a transition of primary devotion and primary attention from the parents to the wife and a becoming of one in unity. An allowing of love and security to come from your spouse. Marriage means binding and unity. Keep in mind this doesn't mean you completely abandon love and honor for parents. It simply shows a realignment or repositioning of primary focus and connection.
