Having a strong economy isn’t the only way we should be measuring a nation’s success: how green and just a country is should be the measure. We only have to look at India’s treatment of farmers to realise that we wouldn’t consider it to be a successful democracy, inspite of its financial strength. Success is where we benefit and serve the Mother Earth - free from total slavery to corporate profit margins.

Trump built a wall to keep Mexicans away
It was all based on lies, the fascist vote won the day.
Now walls are being built in the indian State
They also stand upon a foundation of lies and hate
With nails in the ground to stop farmers progressing
The spikes are as weak as the lies Bollywood’s professing
The hearts of the farmers remain strong on the streets
With barricades to suppress them, we have seen incredible feats
They are feeding the hungry, the oppressed, the low class
Who are these farmers, labelled terrorists, it’s a farce.
Rhianna has spoken, Thunberg’s voice rings out true
Its on us all to speak out, not to rely on so few
Will we stand with the farmers the bread basket for us all
Will we stand or be silenced will we speak out at all?

statement: Ep #7 Youth & missing girl.
We met with Pardeep before recording the Podcast. She was upset by false rumours surrounding her private life that had been widely circulated online and she wanted the allegations and trolling to be addressed.
She was therefore supportive of the release and this was a foundation basis for recording the Podcast in the first instance.
She and her family had a right to be heard via questions put to their nominated spokesperson who led the missing person campaign - Deepa Singh .
Now that the accusations have been answered – in particular the suggestion that she had been returned forcibly to a toxic environment or that her family were in some way placing her under duress, it is time for this matter to be closed.
Accordingly we have taken down pictures relating to Pardeep and we would urge all people who have posted on this subject to remove such pictures, to help and allow the family as a whole to put this behind them and move forward.
Q: do we think some of the questions posed to were unreasonable?
A: the questions that were asked were those that were most frequently asked by the public on Instagram. Some of them were entirely unreasonable: the whole point of the podcast however was to address unreasonable rumours, so it was appropriate that they be asked.
We would have done Pardeep, her family and an injustice had they not been asked robustly.
