Looking down the beach to the sea arch at the Porth Wen Brick Works on the Anglesey coast. Pretty interesting spot with lots of old abandoned buildings practically on the beach!

The old lighthouse stood at the tip of llanddwyn Island. This was probably one of my favourite spots from our recent trip to North Wales. I took far too many photos of this and eventually settled with this composition 📸

MOUNTAIN MOOD - Looking out to Tryfan in North Wales. Been wanting to shoot here for so long. Didn't quite get any light on the mountain due to the moody skies above, but still thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. I'll be back for sure.

Ramshaw Rocks - Here's another shot of this epic little spot. Admittedly I was hoping to be posting some pics from the Lakes and Scotland but unfortunately our van has broken down meaning that won't happen. Still, we are lucky to live in such a beautiful part of the UK with places like this around the Peak District

To me, this shot came out looking like dorsal fins sticking out of a sea of purple heather. Almost as if there was a pod of giant stone whales just underneath the surface. In reality, it's just a nice little spot up at Ramshaw Rocks 😅

Took a walk round Stanton Moor last night with the only goal of finding purple heather. The light wasn't great but I settled on a few compositions, this was my favourite.

Classic Mam Tor sunrise. Well, kinda. I wanted to share what I consider to be a "saved"/ " failed" photo. This was taken around 6am and I came to get this specific shot, unfortunately the sun was directly infront of me and my lense hood was doing practically nothing to stop it. Instead, I opted for a less technical approach of jamming my finger in the way of the sun. Solved!! No more nasty lense flare :P Swipe for the raw file. Is there a better technique for this? Who's done this before? 😅

LAYERS
The many layers that make up the detailed and ancient woodland of Padley Gorge. Every time I go here I come away with multiple new images. I always see so many talented photographers taking shots of trees and scenes I haven't seen yet and wonder where they are. The place is a never ending gold mine for forest photography

Spent the night sleeping under Mam Tor and woke up to an incredible sunrise this morning. Taken around 5:30am, this is the face of the hill, bathed in warm orange light. It was a hot one!
