IsolaCon wants to ensure a safe and fun experience for all participants, as such we present our Code of Conduct:

IsolaCon Code of Conduct

At IsolaCon we seek to foster a sense of inclusion and community, promote the health and wellbeing of gaming industry professional, freelancers, and gamers, and to raise money for RPG Creators Relief Fund ( RCRFCharity.org ) awareness of need during the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic in a safe online space.
We face unique challenges as our charitable event takes place online due to the rapid spread of Covid-19, stay at home orders, and the implementation of world wide social distancing. If there are any questions or issues before, during, or after IsolaCon with regard to the Code of Conduct please contact [email protected]. This event takes place online and originates in the United States, all federal and local laws will be followed to the best of our abilities.
IsolaCon is dedicated to a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, size, race, age or religion, or any other aspect that makes us amazingly unique individuals.

EXPECTATIONS OF PARTICIPANTS
1. Be kind and respectful to everyone encountered in games, chat rooms, panels, or any other event encounter.
2. Use the preferred names and pronouns of other participants. When in doubt, ask.
3. Comply with requests to moderate your behavior, if you are asked to stop, you will stop.
4. Alert the event presenter or IsolaCon staff of issues as soon as possible, [email protected]. We can only help you if we know there is an issue.
5. Participating in any IsolaCon event carries with it implicit consent that you can and will be recorded, broadcast, and otherwise replicated onto the internet due to the nature of this event.
6. Children under the age of 18 need parental oversight.
7. Events will maintain a hard limit equivalent of PG-13 due to the internet nature of this event.

UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR
1. Intimidating, harassing, abusive, discriminatory, derogatory, or demeaning conduct (whether verbal, written, or electronic),
2. Stalking or following.
3. Inappropriate or unwelcome contact of any nature, including but not limited to sexual language, racist language, use of nudity or sexual images, pandering, solicitations, or any other behavior that IsolaCon deems inappropriate.
4. Disruptive or continued disruption of an event.
5. Illegal activities.
6. And again, any other behavior deemed inappropriate by IsolaCon staff, volunteers, or presenters of events.

ANTI-HARASSMENT AND ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS
As this event takes place solely on the internet, there are limitations to our reach, we rely on presenters, game masters, and participants to assist us make this a safe and successful charity event. Unacceptable behavior will not be tolerated, such behavior will be investigated and addressed as appropriate to the situation, up to and including banning of individuals from any and all events. IsolaCon strongly encourages each participant to familiarize themselves with personal options of removing unwanted elements and how to take screenshots in order to provide a documentation trail.
Please report any issues to [email protected] as soon as possible, there will be a moderator on duty during all scheduled events to answer these emails to intercede as needed.
We will take all steps to assist our participants to feel safe in this virtual space. We implore each and everyone who participates to remember that this is a charitable event to help save the gaming industry creators and that in that vein of kindness and giving we ask that everyone use their best manners, make the best decisions, and otherwise put aside questionable or outright bad behaviors during this time of global pandemic that keeps us apart physically but can bring us together in the spirit of compassion and gaming.
IsolaCon is a charitable event with all proceeds going to RCRF, any money given is given consensually, no refunds will be issued, please donate responsibly and within your ability after prioritizing your needs during this difficult time.

Game Distributors Closing Down; RPG Publishers Affected

These are grim times.

It's not just conventions which are getting cancelled; the pandemic is affecting the whole tabletop RPG industry. Distributors, such as Alliance, are closing down temporarily, meaning that many tabletop RPGs are not reaching stores; of course the stores themselves are also closed in most places...

We are in early planning stages still but we're working quickly to put together a spectacular live stream event across many channels to raise money for RPG creatives impacted by the covid pandemic. Join us on 4/18 and 4/19 for IsolaCon April 2020.

We're working with the RPG Creators Relief Fund, INC, Twitch channels and podcasters such as Know Direction, Cypher Unlimited, and The Forge: A Genesys RPG Podcast We're even working with freelance game designers like Four Horsemen Games. Please help us get the word out and if you are a Content Creator involved in RPGs at any level who is interested in helping, message us here and we will see how we can work together to make this the best and most successful event we can.
