This week I have had some highs and lows with getting on track with my nutrition. I wanted to hit May with energy, motivation and determination to conquer some nutrition goals. Water first and veggies most.
It started well but with the slow down with my head getting hurt in the fall, has meant I havenât really been myself and have resorted to comfort foods. I have eaten more carbs in the evening the last two days than I want to and that leaves me feeling a bit bloated in the evening. I was really enjoying the carbs at breakfast and lunch by following up on no carbs for dinner. But these things happen.
A few nights ago I tried my shake for dessert and it was a game changer. This is why, I never had space in my life for a shake daily. Why? I already consumed so much liquid. đ. I wake up, have my energize then workout. Drink lots of water, then lots of tea, then I usually have my after lunch coffee, then more waterâŚâŚ so ya, where would I throw in a shake?
Fast forward to our company saying, letâs eat more dessert. But healthy dessert and as a treat, I tried this for dessert.
1/2 cup of almond milk
1 scoop of cookies and cream shakeology
Grated lemon and orange
1/2 cup of ice.
Delicious!!!!
Anyways, I will get back on track as I was feeling wonderful. Who else loves good nutrition? If you are someone that loves all good food but wants a better way of portioning it, the 2B mindset is wonderful. We currently have an accountability group happening for the month. Itâs worth it if you need the support. I have learned a lot recently from other women in the group.
