[EVO011] Arigto - ARIA (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)
ARIA is a short horror film directed by Bruce Tetsuya, featured in Seattle Asian American Film Festival & Denver Film Festival.
"After the sudden death of their reclusive father, Aria and her sister Ava venture deep into the woods to his home, in order to clear it out. Aria's mind is pulled in two directions. One way towards her regret for not being closer with her father, and the other towards the stage play she's supposed to be rehearsing. Ava tries to help Aria practice lines, and console her about their loss. As the two begin to clean out the cabin, they both begin to feel a presence...
The lines of reality are blurred, as the sisters lose themselves in the world of the play, the depth of the forest, and in the hands of their ghost."
The soundtrack of the movie is composed by the Berlin/Leipzig-based New Age duo Arigto. Shattered strings and piano compositions are mutated around the tracks into a chill and nostalgic pile of emotions, each one made for each act of the film.
