Breaking News: Warrap State Governor H.E Hon. Francis Marial Abur Relieves Officials of Their Positions

1. The Revenue Authority, along with Deputy Hon. Anei Madoor, has been relieved of their positions, with Hon. Mangor Dhol appointed as the new head and John Wunrok taking on the deputy role.

2. Andrew Akoon, the Director-General of the State Ministry of General Education, has been replaced by Ustaz Makeny Agoth Giir.

3. In Kuajok municipality, Mayor Mathuc Deng Ariรซch has been relieved, and Hon. Ayok Chol Ayok will take over as the new mayor.

4. Maluil Akot, the Director-General of the State Ministry of Finance, has also been replaced by George Mayuot.

The Governor of Jonglei State Mahjoub Biel Turuk reported that six counties are currently submerged by floods, creating significant risks to local communities amid ongoing national challenges.

Governor Turuk emphasized the urgency of their situation, noting the need for immediate support to safeguard the livelihoods and well-being of those currently impacted by the disaster.

Western Bahr el Ghazal Governor Sarah Cleto Rial also updated the President on the successful dialogue initiatives aimed at resolving communal conflicts while also addressing the challenges posed by a growing displaced population, particularly due to the conflict in Sudan.

Governor Sarah also reported on a productive farming season, coupled with the announcement of development projects aimed at enhancing infrastructure and community services.

These efforts reflect the stateโ€™s resilience and commitment to fostering stability and growth despite ongoing challenges.

Meanwhile, Northern Bahr el Ghazal State Governor Simon Uber Ajongo informed the Head of State about the significant influx of the Sudanese refugees, which he said is further destabilizing the border region.

The President's meeting with the Governors highlights the urgent need for comprehensive strategies to tackle both immediate and long-term challenges faced by the states, ensuring the safety and well-being of their restive populations.

Statement of Gen..Akol Koor Kuc, Governor of Warrap State.

I am surprised at the rumours stating I have declined the offer by my President to serve my country at the state level.
Declining for what reason? I am a government civil servant who worked years ago in Warrap State as the Commissioner of Tonj North County. I am happy to serve again at the gubernatorial level.

I am therefore ready to take up the challenge of restoring peace and reconciliation among the unstable communities of Warrap State.

I thank President of the Republic, Gen. Salva Kiir Mayardit, for the trust he gave me to serve in the National Security ISB docket for many years. I am appreciative of the important role, H.E. has given me an opportunity to serve our Home State.

The Governor of Warrap State today received the Council of Traditional Authority Leadership (COTAL) at the Council of Ministers.

This marks a significant step in renewing the mandate of the Council of Tradition Authority Leadership in Warrap State since the amalgamation of the three defunct states of Twic, Gogrial and Tonj into the current Warrap State.

Speaking to the Media, Sultan Akol Ayii Madut spoke on behalf of the Chiefs that attended the meeting.

Sultan Ayii re-iterated that the concluded meeting embodies significance because it draws traditional leadership together in order to forge a unified purpose and address there problems for benefit of the people they lead.

The Chiefs pledged to tour all six Counties of Warrap State to support traditional Authorities and requested for the renovation of COTAL premises in Kuajok.

Another appointment of the Chiefs with H.E the Governor of Warrap State is loading with involvement of more chiefs of Warrap State including those that were unable to attend due to floods in their home areas.

H.E the Governor of Warrap State assured the Chiefs of his full support towards the Local Government system in order for the people of Warrap State to live in peace and harmony.

BREAKING: Warrap State Governor dismisses ๐—ž๐˜‚๐—ฎ๐—ฐ ๐—”๐˜†๐—ผ๐—ธ Paramount Chief and Three Executive Chiefs.

Warrap State Governor, Kuol Muor Muor, has taken decisive action by dismissing the Paramount Chief of Kuac Ayok community, Kuol Amet Kuol, along with three Executive Chiefs from Kuac North.

The governor issued a letter detailing the dismissals and replacements. The letter reads:

"Subject: Dismissal and Replacement of (1) Paramount Chief and (3) Executive Chiefs from Kuac North Payam, you are directed to dismiss and replace (1) Paramount Chief and (3) Executive Chiefs of Kuac North Payam due to their failure to comply with the state government's directives. This decision takes immediate effect as follows:

1. Kuol Amet Kuol, Paramount Chief of LukLuk Boma, dismissed and replaced by Mathiang Akech Amet.
2. Wol Mathuc Wol, Executive Chief of Mathiangdit Boma, dismissed and replaced by Madut Ngong Ngong.
3. Madol Akeen Kuot, Executive Chief of Angui Boma, dismissed and replaced by Mathuc Madol Kuot.
4. Deng Ajiek Agoth, Executive Chief of Mathiang Majooc Boma, dismissed and replaced by Ajiek Ajiek Agoth."

NB: This dismissal comes after the Kuac Chiefs submitted a petition letter to Warrap State while the Governor was out of the state. Following the petition, all chiefs from Kuac were initially suspended by the Director General of Local Government. Today, the Governor officially dismissed them.

๐—ฆ๐—ฎ๐—ฑ ๐—ก๐—ฒ๐˜„๐˜€: This evening, Awan Mourkuau TV received a heartbreaking news that Awan Mourkuau community have lost a young promising boy by the name ๐—”๐˜†๐—ฎ๐—ป๐˜† ๐—”๐—ธ๐—ผ๐—ผ๐—ธ ๐—”๐—ป๐—ด๐˜‚๐—ถ from Pareng clan of Awan Chan, particularly lolkou in Wut-nyantkou village today at 1 O'clock and 30 minutes. The cause of his death was a snake bite as resident and close family member reported to us that villages in Lolkou are submerged in flooding water exposing the inhabitants to walk through water around the neighbourhood.

Ayany Akook is a begotten son among his sisters and a young boy of 14 years old, born on 18/Feb/2010.

Breaking News:
The Sudan Rapid Support Forces paramilitary group have infiltrated and overrun key mineral rich areas in Raja County of Western Bahr El Ghazal State.

County Commissioner Addison Arkangelo confirmed to Radio Miraya that the disputed areas of Kafia-Kinji, Al-Rodum, Al-Sungu, and Hofra Nihas โ€“ rich in gold, copper and other minerals, are under RSF control.

Commissioner Arkangelo calls for urgent intervention from the national government to liberate these strategically important areas from the RSF.

"The communities in these areas are African tribes that belong to Raja County, with no connection to South Darfur. In fact, Nyala, the capital of South Darfur, is far from Al-Radum," said Commissioner Arkangelo, "This is why we are urging the national government to engage diplomatically with Sudan to restore these areas to Raja County."

The SSPDF Spokesperson, Major General L*l Ruai, confirmed receiving the reports from the division commander and is awaiting further details before engaging with Sudanese authorities.

JUST IN: Woman steals a new born baby just one day after the baby was born.

A shocking incident occurred in Juba, where a woman stole a newborn baby just one day after the child was born, while still in the care of his mother.

According to reports, a woman gave birth to a healthy baby boy on a Thursday morning. Shortly after, her female neighbor visited and inquired, "When did you give birth?" The new mother responded, "Yesterday."

The neighbor then suggested to the womanโ€™s husband that he should go out and find something to support his wife and their newborn. Without suspecting anything, the husband quickly left to find work.

Seizing the opportunity, the neighbor prepared a meal for the new mother but secretly laced it with a sleeping pill. After eating, the exhausted mother fell into a deep sleep. Taking advantage of the situation, the neighbor stole the newborn baby. She then took the baby to Juba Teaching Hospital, falsely claiming that she had given birth at home and was there to have the baby vaccinated under the name "Shakush."

After the vaccination, the woman called her husband, a soldier, and informed him that she had given birth to their son. Her husband, unaware of the truth, came to the hospital and took them home.

When the real mother woke up, she discovered her baby was missing and began to cry in distress. Neighbors gathered around, and one mentioned seeing the female neighbor carrying something that resembled a baby. Alarmed, they rushed to the police to report the incident.

Later that evening, the police found the neighbor at her home with the missing newborn. When confronted, the neighbor claimed the baby as her own, but the real mother immediately disputed her claim.

To resolve the situation, both women were taken to the hospital, where they were asked to breastfeed the baby. It was quickly revealed that the real mother was the one who could breastfeed, exposing the neighborโ€™s lie, as she was not lactating.
