With the sad passing of local football legend Dick Grimmond I thought it would be nice to re visit one of the most enjoyable podcasts I have done on Glory Days - it was the 1972 Balldale premiership in the Hume FL captain and coach none other than Dick Grimmond -- the morning Dick and his trusty side kick and larakin mate Les Waldon came to my office for the interview was one of the funniest and fun filled few hrs you could wish for

Hume Football League in the 1984 first grade season the average amount of points scored per game was 215 - in 2024 after 16 rounds the average amount of points scored per game is 143

In 1984 four players had kicked over a century of goals at end of home and away rounds -
