To the Management of Guaranty Trust Bank Gambia,
I write to express deep concern over the ongoing outage of the GTBank mobile app and online services, now entering its fifth day. This prolonged downtime has made life extremely difficult for customers who rely on your digital platforms for everyday transactions, especially given the bankโs earlier assurance that services would remain fully operational during the transition to a new system.
The lack of clear updates or alternative solutions from management during this period has only added to customer frustration and uncertainty. We respectfully urge the bank to provide a transparent explanation of the situation, a realistic timeline for restoration of services, and immediate measures to ease the financial disruptions being faced by your customers especially for those of us in the diaspora, who manage all our bills and payments through the GTB app.
