I watched Let it Be yesterday. I just don’t get how this movie was labeled to be so depressing. The problem back in 1970 is that they released it after the news broke about the group disbanding. Then people started to look for reasons in the film for the break up. That “argument” between Paul and George was nothing and certainly wasn't the reason the band broke up.

My only regret is that they didn't film the making of every album they recorded. I love what Bono said about watching Get Back. He said it was like watching Jesus prepare his next sermon.

Saw this on X and thought to bring it over here. Name a PERFECT album from the 1990s that ISN'T Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, or Alice In Chains. My choice is Wildflowers by Tom Petty. How about you?

Saw Bob Marley: One Love this weekend. I didn't hate it but it was a very superficial biopic. The writers chose not to take a deep dive into Jamaica's civil unrest, Marley's philandering, his absenteeism as a Dad, or inspirations as a musician. Maybe they did go into those things and I didn't know it because half of the dialogue is indiscernible. Closed caption would have helped...SERIOUSLY!

But the softball approach should surprise no one. It was produced by Marley's kids, introduced by Ziggy. Maybe this movie represents how they choose to remember their Dad. And that's ok, but in the end, it just makes for an ok movie. Save your money and wait for its release to your favorite movie channel app.

Visited Koco's Pub yesterday (highly recommended quintessential Baltimore gem!) with a few HS friends. Awesome crab cakes, vibe and hospitality (thank you Marcella & Ashley).

Nestor from WNST was there doing a podcast along with the great Luke Jones. Nestor walked from table to table handing out scratch-offs courtesy of "Baltimore Positive". One of my HS friends won $200 from the scratch-off and paid the entire tab!

I've been a huge fan of Under Armour. It's actually embarrassing how much UA gear I have. But those days are now gone. I received a pair of sweat pants towards the end of December and there was a hole in the seam. So I sent them back via FedEx on January 7. UA claims the package wasn't received until Jan. 15. They said from the 15th, they'll need 16 business days to process the return. SIXTEEN! Which in calendar days means over 3 weeks! Great customer service, right? Funny, it didn't take them that long to process my payment. More like 16 seconds. Thanks for the memories UA. I'm out...
