Anchored in Charleston SC, just off the USS Yorktown. This aircraft carrier was built in 1943 and named after the original Yorktown, which was sunk in the Midway battle (1942), the ship served in World War II and through the Vietnam war.

Between projects, we took a much needed walk at Turtle Creek Sanctuary in Palm Beach FL. Great walking and running trails, shaded boardwalks, and lots of plant and tree ID signs for geeky Jim to read! Saw our first Turkey Oak tree!! Woo Hoo!

One of the best things about living on the water, is how connected we are to sunrises, sunsets, and cloud formations. Check out this strange, cirrus cloud interaction. All of my meteorologist friends can explain in the comments, what we are seeing here. Perhaps it was the Chinese “weather” balloon!

Never ending projects! Replacement of our galley sink. All new plumbing, enlarging cut-out, and figuring out a way to clamp the sink down, while the caulk dries.
