You know what's badass? Reading about the launch of a new organization and seeing that one of your past guests is a part of it. Mirror Indy wrote about the Indiana Innocence Project - a new project to help free those who have been wrongfully convicted in Indiana. Krissy Bunch serves on their board as VP & Treasurer.
When we interviewed Krissy in 2021, she talked about how she spent 17+ years behind bars after being arrested and charged with setting a fire that claimed the life of her three-year-old son. In 2012, the Indiana Court of Appeals overturned her conviction after lawyers argued that arson evidence was wrong and key documents had been withheld from the defense before trial. Kristine was set free — 17 years, one month, and 16 days after her wrongful arrest.
And now we want to interview her again - her and/or Fran - to learn about this badass organization. Who can connect us?

The Indiana Innocence Project will represent wrongfully convicted people and seek their exoneration. They are now taking applications for clients.
