a few weeks back we traveled to CT to check out an antique market that has been on my must visit list since I moved to NYC. we didn’t leave with any vintage tables or settees, but did score two antique swivel orange chairs. the plan is to eventually reupholster them. however, the orange is starting to grow on me.

Thoughts? Should we prioritize the reupholster or sit on it for a while?

Decided on a white…what a stressful decision! After all that we ended up going with Chantilly Lace by Benjamin Moore. Such a crisp clean white with very minimal undertones.

Saying goodbye to my/our apartment was not easy. I won’t miss the 5 floor walk up or having to walk multiple blocks to the laundromat, but I am going to miss so much about this magical tiny little gem that was home for 7 years. Many memories were made in this apartment that I will always cherish and hold close to my heart. It was my first solo apartment and where I fell in love with my best friend. We learned a lot about one another here, especially how to live in 300 sq ft 1 bdr apartment throughout a 2 year pandemic while WFH. When I look at this empty space, I still can’t believe our time here is over, but it’s time to move on to the next chapter. I can’t wait to turn our new apartment into our new home and share all the progress + updates here!
