MAN CATCHES WIFE IN TH*****ME S*X, COMMITS SU***DE.

A 42 -YEAR-OLD football administrator has committed su***de after he allegedly found his 34-year-old wife having a th*****me with two men.

The incident is alleged to have happened on Saturday between 21:00 hours and 23:00 hours, when Golden Pepa returned to his house in Lusaka’s Mtendere.

Initially, Mr Pepa, who was working at a named institution, was allegedly beaten by his wife, Mable Banda, and the two men whom she was found with in the s*xual act. Mary Pepa, 50, of house number B7/73/13 Kalingalinga Township, reported that her brother was allegedly beaten by his wife, who is reported to have been in the company of two males.

The report was first made at Kalingalinga Police Post but was later referred to Mtendere Police Station.

Police deputy spokesperson Danny Mwale confirmed the development in response to a query yesterday.

It is believed that after the matter was reported to police, Mr Pepa returned home and consumed poison.

“Later, the sister of the victim (Mary) received a phone call from her young brother by the name of Shadreck, of Kalingalinga, that the victim had been admitted at Mtendere Clinic.

“He was later transferred to the University Teaching Hospitals, where he was pronounced dead,” Mr Mwale said. Investigations have been instituted into the matter and police visited the scene, which was found locked.

Kampyongo's property worth more than his earnings - ACC

A Senior Investigations officer at the Anti-Corruption Commission has told the Economic and Financial Crimes Court that the value of Stephen Kampyongo's properties scattered across Lusaka is way above his income.

This is in a matter where Kampyongo, a former minister of home affairs is jointly charged with his wife Wanizya Chirwa a chief planner at the ministry of Lands on eleven counts of possessing properties worth K28,701,500 suspected to be proceeds of crime.

Zangiwe Mulenga told principal resident magistrate Sylvia Munyinya that on February 29, 2022 the Commission received a complaint that Kampyongo and his wife had illegally acquired properties in different parts of Lusaka.

"The details of the complaint is that AVIC International had built flats for Kampyongo in Foxdale. It was further alleged that he was in possession of properties suspected to be proceeds of crime. It was further alleged that Wanziya Chirwa had bought a property in Ibex costing way above her earnings," Mulenga said.

She narrated that in April 2022, the director general authorised a full scale inquiry into the allegations and the Commission also received information from the Financial Intelligence Centre (FIC) alleging that Kampyongo and Wanizya had built a house in Eureka and the costs of construction did not meet their income.

Mulenga said she prepared a warrant of access and served them on Ministry of Lands, Patents and Companies Registration Agenca (PACRA), Road Transport and Safety Agency (RTSA), Various Banks and she went to Eureka and interviewed Jonathan VanBlerk who confirmed having sold property worth US$330,176 to the couple and a part payment of US$1,400 was made.

She said according to records at the ministry of lands Kampyongo has four properties all registered under his name.

THE sweetest dawn sleep has sadly turned into a nightmare for a 20-year-old woman of Mpongwe district on the Copperbelt after she was awakened by a man who ended up ra**ng her in her own house and in the sight of her one-year-six-month old baby.

Jeremiah Nkomo, 28 broke into his victims house around 04:00 hours, and s*xually abused her while her husband was away in the bush collecting charcoal.

Copperbelt commanding officer Peacewell Mweemba said the incident occurred yesterday around 04:00 hours.

"Brief facts are that on Friday around 22:00 hours, the victim had securely locked the door to her house and went to sleep with her one year six months old baby. On Saturday, January 7th, this year around 04:00 hours, she heard some noise in the house and woke up. She discovered that it was the suspect in the house. She held her cell phone with a torch light on and asked him who he was and what he was doing in her house. The suspect did not respond. Later, the suspect held her by the neck, removed the beddings and got on top of her. He pulled her dress up as she was not wearing underwear. He spread her legs apart and started having unlawful carnal knowledge of her," he said.

Mr Mweemba said that according to the victim, after the suspect was done, he pulled up his torn trousers and told her that he will harm her because he was worried that she might tell other people that he had r***d her.

"The victim got scared and started pleading with him not to kill her, of which he assured her that he would not kill her. She asked him to sleep nicely on the bed so that she can find a way to escape with her baby. The suspect became relaxed with that assurance and they slept on the bed. She asked him how he entered the house and told her he entered through the window after removing the bricks and later opened the door so that he can escape easily if anything happened," he said.

AFTER spending days in detention following his arrest on warrant for failure to ensure that his older brother appears in court, popular Mpali actor Shazzy Phiri, alias Hambe Nguzu, can now go back on set.

This was after the Lusaka Magistrate's Court released him from detention and ordered that he stops representing his brother, Costa,28, as a surety because he failed to discharge the function.

Hambe was set freed alongside his younger brother, Steven, who was also a surety in the matter.

"The best I can do to for you is to discharge you from being sureties. Don't you sign police bond if you dont understand the conditions. I forthwith discharge you," the magistrate said as the two brothers swiftly left the courtroom.

Outside court, the actor's relatives covered his head while avoiding a horde of journalists who wanted to capture the freed celebrity.

They swiftly guarded him and walked him to the car park where he hastily boarded a vehicle.

Earlier, the court heard that Shazzy and Steven signed police bond for their older brother Costa who is accused obtaining over K20, 000 on pretext that he had roofing sheets for sale when infact not.

But after the bond was signed and Costa was released from police custody, the accused never attended court sessions for more than five times.

Shazzy and Steven never went to court to explain their older brother's absence at court.

This prompted the prosecution team to apply for issuance of a bench warrant against the accused person and the two sureties.

After months of searching for the accused, police later managed to apprehend him at his brothers who signed for his police bond.

When the case came up for return of bench warrant this morning, the crest falled Shazzy and his two brothers were in the dock.

A 15-year-old girl of Ndola has allegedly been s*xually abused by her 18-year-old boyfriend at a bar in Luanshya where he works as a Disco Jokey (DJ).

The juvenile suspect is believed to have lured his girlfriend towards the VIP room of the bar that he works and then forced her to undress and then s*xually abused her.

Copperbelt commanding officer Peacewell Mweemba who confirmed the incident said the victim, who is a pupil from Chifubu Primary school in Ndola had gone to Luanshya on holiday.

He said the incident occurred on January 4th at around 21:00 hours at Puntas Bar in Mikomfwa area of Luanshya.

"Brief facts are that the victim was on January 4th ,2023 at 21:00 hours invited by her boyfriend, the suspect at Puntas Bar, Mikomfwa in Luanshya where he works as a DJ .Whilst at the said bar, the victim was told by the accused to go to a VIP room at the said bar, which she did. The accused person followed her behind and forced her to undress and later had carnal knowledge of her. She later went to inform the cousin about it, who then reported the matter to the Police," he said.

Mr Mweemba said a medical report form was issued and the suspect is detained in police custody.

MAN DIES DURING S*X, POLICE ARREST WOMAN

A MAN in his thirties of Mwamba area in Mpongwe has died during a s*xual in*******se with his lover.

Copperbelt police chief Charity Katanga said the incident happened on Thursday around 10.00 hours and identified the dead man as Johnstone Phiri while the woman is Mary Mwamba,24,of Kopu village in Luwingu.

Ms Katanga said Mr Phiri complained that his heart was beating at a faster rate and when he died immediately after the first round.

"The woman came all the way from Luwingu to visit her lover.So on the material day, they were having s*x and Mr Phiri complained that his heart was beating too fast and that he had a headache. Am told it was during the first round when he dropped dead.Mwamba is in custody being interrogated over this death,"Ms Katanga said.

She said police have since apprehended Mwamba and that she is being questioned over Mr Phiri' s death.

The body is Mpongwe mission hospital mortuary.

❌ - This point is called the 'Plunge Pool', where the water falls when the flood gates are open. This area has NOTHING to do with power generation, however presence of water there over time may weaken the base of the dam wall structure. Since 2015, the Kariba Dam has been undergoing rehabilitation works which involves draining the Plunge Pool in order to strengthen the base of the Dam Wall.

✅ - The level of water at this point (dam reservoir) has everything to do with HydroPower generation capacity. Optimum levels of water at this point allow water intake on both sides of the dam to fall (by gravity) through tunnels called 'Head Race' or 'Penstocks' which drive the turbines that generate electrical energy. If the level of water at this point is too high, flood gates are opened to avoid overflowing. If the level of water is too low, the intake of water through the head race has to be reduced hence reduction in generation capacity.

Ex-funeral directors jailed for selling body parts

An ex-funeral home owner and her mother have been sentenced to prison in Colorado after dissecting hundreds of bodies and selling the body parts.

Prosecutors said Megan Hess, 46, and Shirly Koch, 69, dissected some 560 corpses and sold body parts without permission between 2010 and 2018.

Both women pleaded guilty to fraud earlier this year.

Hess will jailed for 20, while Koch was sentenced to 15 years in prison.

According to federal prosecutors in Colorado, the mother-daughter duo harvested body parts, and entire bodies in some cases, for sale.

Hess - who ran the Sunset Mesa Funeral Home in the town of Montrose - charged families up to $1,000 (£834) for cremations that never took place and offered them free of charge in exchange for body part donations in some cases, prosecutors said.

"These two women preyed on vulnerable victims who turned to them in a time of grief and sadness," Leonard Carollo, the FBI's special agent in charge in Denver, said in a statement.

POLICE ARREST TWO SUSPECTS IN CONNECTION WITH THEFT OF A VEHICLE AT A CAR WASH 👇👇

STATEMENT

Police have apprehended two suspects identified as Felix Banda aged 40 of Chawama compound and Kennedy Ng'ona aged 29 of Kaunda Square Stage II, a car wash attendant at Waterfalls Shopping Mall.

This is in connection with the theft of a Toyota Noah registration number BBA 6693 which was reported stolen at the car wash at waterfalls Mall in Lusaka.

Police apprehended the suspects in Chibolya compound where they attempted to sell the same car.

The motor vehicle was involved in an accident while in the custody of the suspects.

The two suspects are detained in Police custody.
