No Politics. No Opinions. Just News.

SLO County News was created by Laurie Bryant, a local community member and former Search and Rescue volunteer. With the help of a local Dream Team, Laurie creates and curates local content relevant to current events, public safety, and what’s happening in San Luis Obispo County.

Our group has a zero tolerance policy for politics, drama, arguing, spam, and basically all of the undesirable behavior that can be epidemic in local groups. We aim to offer information without editorializing by giving you the basic facts in real time, and encouraging those to share opinions on their own pages.
