If you buy something for yourself, you will only please yourself. But if you give something to the one in need, you will please two souls, one yours and one theirs... Happiness lies in sharing and caring. So, this new year we decided to help some needy ones instead. As we are well aware about the situation of Nepal, even after several months, the Earthquake affected areas are still in a deplorable state. The winter has hit hard and among the people living in the temporary shelters, the death toll due to the extreme cold has crossed 24. Hence, we all went to an underprivileged village 'Bimire' in Dhading which is in a deplorable state. We distributed large sized blankets to around 60 households in Bimire and we wish to help more. Ghumante along with The Shutter Stories Nepal and hands in hand with Lincs2Nepal are planning to organize one more sequel of this event where we will distribute blankets in another suffering village. For this, we need your support in a great scale.

11 photographers from Ghumante have come together to help the needy one through photographs, we are selling our photographs to buy blankets for the earthquake victims living in the temporary shelter. The prints are going to be 12 inches by 18 inches with wooden frames. Cost for one picture is 4000 NRS. The pictures will be home delivered in Kathmandu, Pokhara, Damauli and Nepalgunj. All the collected funds will be used to buy blankets and is not going to any Organizations or charity, Ghumante team will be on the field and distribute the blankets. Ghumante is on the field exploring, photographing and helping Nepal, please be a part of the cause. Contact persons are listed below:
