whale, hello there!!! we were supposed to go whale watching during our iceland trip, so we decided to get creative and do our first ever flat-lay stop motion!! we have been dying to create things like this for a long time, and using our free time to dive into creative ideas we normally put on the back burner has brought us SO MUCH JOY. the last few frames you can see us cracking up because we were having so much fun.

as much as we miss traveling the world, there are still so many adventures to have while at home!

stay home, stay safe, and everything whale be ok. 😘😍😋

IS PRACTICING GRATITUDE THE SAME AS MANIFESTING?

we think yes. When you are PROACTIVELY grateful.
🔑
to bringing something you want into your life you must believe it’s already yours.
🙏🏼
when you add it to your gratitude practice, and you regularly say “thank you for _____” you’re telling whoever you’re talking to (universe, God, etc) that you KNOW you have it already. Whether it’s shown up in your physical space or not.
🔑
The KEY is - letting go. If your gratitude practice is attached to a feeling of desperation or a limiting belief like: “if in don’t bring this into my life I’ll never ____” - the universe knows you don’t actually believe or acknowledge your ownership of what you want yet.
🌎
if you believe it’s not yours, that you’re not worth of it, or that it’s just a “shot in the dark”- it won’t come.
🛑
The universe wants to give you EXACTLY what you want if not better. You just have to believe you deserve it, and that it’s ON ITS WAY.

Just try and think about it like you placed an Amazon order, and you’re just waiting for it to show up at your door.

If you’re wondering where to start bringing of the desires in your heart into your life, and creating a life you love - start with learning that you’re worthy. That you don’t have to BECOME something else, you just need to let go, to break your chains and release your conditioning. Then start incorporating proactive gratitude and watch things begin to manifest!!

We all have them - even the most *enlightented* person is going to hit a cement wall in the middle of their path every now and then.

But whether or not you view that wall as the END OF YOUR ROAD makes you or breaks you.

Don’t get us wrong, sometimes you need a moment to step back and rest before you can tackle what’s in your way. But a lot of times - it just feels easiest to give up. Or it just feels IMPOSSIBLE to break through.

When this happens - we encourage you to get CREATIVE. To flex that brain and find new ways of chipping away at your block.
💡
Maybe a photo shoot can help you work on some self-worth blocks. Or a finally treating yourself to that piece of art your eyeing. There’s more ways than meditating or journaling to get you past what’s holding you back!

NEW YEAR NEW LIMITING BELIEFS

Hi! Quick Intro: We’re Christina + Eric Irvin and we are creative entrepreneurs! We have a video business + specialize working with brands + businesses to create high impact promotional content for the online space. We’re also branching into adventure/destination elopements (if you know of anyone getting hitched, hit us up!)

Our business is mobile + allows us to live a crazy, fun life full of constant travel BUT what led us to be able to design this life that we’re obsessed with isn’t our creativity. It’s not our income. We’re not trust fund babies. We didn’t sell an app or house, or anything that funded our dreams.

It was our mindset. It was our determination to not settle. To break the limitations that bound us to a life we weren’t thriving in - thats what backed our willingness to take a MASSIVE chance + to commit to not living in fear of literally everything.

This summer, we launched “It’s an Irvinture” out of a desire to share more of our life, and our travels, outside of our business.

What we’ve realized in the 6 months of operating this platform, is that our desire was never to be a travel blog. It was always to be more. To share what we do and how we do it, in hopes to inspire you to chase your dreams + break your limitations.

The idea of breaking down brick walls (figuratively) PUMPS us up - the only other thing that meets that level of joy is travel! SO we’re working on exactly how we can marry our love for travel with our passion of showing up for people, breaking limitations + designing a life you love.

Some current mindset blocks/limitations we’re smashing:
- The *IMPOSSIBILITY* of having consistent 5 figure income months while traveling
- The *GUILT + SHAME* we feel because we think people don’t want to see us succeed
- The *REJECTION* we think we’ll encounter by speaking our truth

We are SO excited for this year, + the things we have planned to share with you, the places we’re traveling to + the limitations we have that we’re breaking along the way.

When the movie “The Greatest Showman” came out in 2017, we were on the cusp of starting to build a life we love. Christina had given her notice at her full time job and we were prepared to figure out how to make working for ourselves full time WORK - because sacrificing our happiness was no longer an option.
⭐️
We had already started shifting our mindset & taking risks but we still didn’t dare to dream as big as we do now. So much was unknown, but we knew there was no other way. We had to start living.
☁️
Both of us heard this song and felt so connected to it. Christina still cries when she hears it. There’s never been a song that has so beautifully put in to words what is in our hearts. Not just because the lyrics are about dreaming and building a life you love - because it’s about doing it with someone you love.

REWIND.
🌟
It all started when we visited friends in Austria. Christina’s mind filled with “I want this. How can we do this?” and Eric said, “I don’t know but lets try.” A life adjacent to constant adventure, not just occasional trips here and there.
💫
Research ensued. Frustration followed. By the end of January. It didn’t seem possible. But only a few weeks prior we were graced with the Northern Lights - in the first few minutes of the new year. And we KNEW that 2019 would bring us beautiful things.
⭐️
So we kept going. And we figured it out. And we put our intentions out there. And we watched our business shift to allow more freedom, manifested realities. We sold our house - not for the money, it didn’t make us much - but so we would be unencumbered.
🌙
And we adventured and we learned, we grew our community, our support system. We listened to our gut when it said that moving overseas full time was actually NOT the right thing for us. And we trusted. We trusted that no matter what, everything would work out - and it would work out BETTER than we could have ever dreamed of.

And it did.
2019 was the year we stepped onto the path, it was the year we started our “Irvinture” - where we learned to trust more than ever, and to allow ourselves to believe the risks will always pay off.

We are SO grateful for all of you who show up and engage with us on . This page, and what we share here, is born from the things that excite us most. Travel, Mindset and Community. And we can’t wait to share even more of that in 2020. Happy New Year, Friends! We love you!

Étretat - even the name sounds like something out of a Tolkien or Martin novel. And as you can see, these white cliffs are just pure magic - totally fitting of the fantastical sounding name!

The white cliffs of Étretat were quite a site to see on foot but this is a time where we loved having a drone with us - so we could see them from a totally different perspective!
