InterNova - International Science Fiction InterNova is a magazine for science fiction from all over the world, in English or English translation. Edited by Michael K. Iwoleit.

Initially published as an offspring of the German magazine Nova in 2005, it has recently been relaunched with four to six online issues per year. A printed edition, planned to be published once a year, will follow soon.

InterNova #4 has just been uploaded. This time it's a theme issue about French science fiction, compiled in collaboration with translator Michael Shreve and French sf veteran Jean-Claude Dunyach.

It includes stories by Claude Ecken, Pierre Pelot, Jean-Louis Trudel,
Jean-Claude Dunyach and Jacques Barbéri, two rediscovered classics by Maurice Renard and José Moselli with introductions by Michael Shreve, and an exclusive update of Jean-Claude Dunyach's "Hitch Hiker's Guide to French Science Fiction".

*Kurd Lasswitz Preis Nomination*

InterNova editor Michael K. Iwoleit’s novella “Briefe an eine imaginäre Frau”, published in Nova #31, has been nominated for the Kurd Lasswitz Preis, one of the most renowned German science fiction awards, in the category of best story of the year. The original version of this tale, which was initially written in English, will be included in the first printed issue of InterNova, to be published in the second half of this year by p.machinery, along with two longer tales by Tetiana Trofusha (Germany/Ukraine) and Guy Hasson (Israel).

InterNova #4 preview

We have just started proofreading for the fourth issue of InterNova
online and expect to upload the issue around mid May.
Edited in collaboration with translator Michael Shreve it will be a
theme issue about French science fiction this time, with short stories
by Jacques Barbéri, Jean-Claude Dunyach, Claude Ecken, Pierre Pelot and Jean-Louis Trudel, two rediscovered classics by Maurice Renard and José Moselli and an exclusive update of Jean-Claude Dunyach's well-known "Hitch Hiker's Guide to French Science Fiction".

We have further theme issues about the science fiction of India, Romania and Germany in preparation.

The first issue is titled "Contemporary Issues", the second one is dedicated to modern Greek science fiction, while the third introduces "New Fabulists". Stay tuned for more news, since the editorial team have a couple of aces up their sleeves.
