Antonia Rados studied Politics in Paris and Salzburg. She worked as a journalist for public broadcasters ORF, WDR and ZDF as well as for TV channels RTL and ntv in Germany. For 40 years, Rados reported from war zones and interviewed many influential figures, most notably Muammar al-Gaddafi and Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Oleksandra Matviichuk is a prominent human rights defender known for her work in Ukraine and the OSCE region. She currently leads the Center for Civil Liberties, coordinates the Euromaidan SOS initiative group, and has authored numerous alternative reports for international organizations, including the UN, Council of Europe, European Union, OSCE, and International Criminal Court. She received the Democracy Defender Award in 2016, was the first woman to participate in Stanford University’s Ukrainian Emerging Leaders Program in 2017, and received the Right Livelihood Award in 2022. She was also recognized as one of the world’s 25 influential women by the Financial Times in the same year, and the Center for Civil Liberties, under her leadership, was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.

Since 2022, Lisa-Marie Fassl has been the managing partner of Fund F together with Nina Nöss. Fund F invests in startups with mixed-gender founding teams in the areas of ClimateTech, FemTech, HealthTech, FinTech and HR Tech. In 2022, they announced the first closing of their new €20 million fund. Until 2023, Fassl was vice president of the Austrian Angel Investors Association.

Mathea, an Austrian singer, gained fame after her debut single „2x“ topped the Austrian charts in October 2018, earning gold and platinum certifications. Following her appearance on „The Voice of Germany,“ she moved to Vienna to focus on her music while working as a saleswoman. But Mathea didn’t let anything get her down. On the contrary: Shortly after her album release *in 2020* she founded her own label „1998“. Mathea has won awards and received multiple nominations, including the prestigious Amadeus Austrian Music Award.

Ulla Wannemacher founded Ringana together with Andreas Wilfinger and is now an authorized signatory of the company. Based in Styria, Ringana has been producing organic, vegan and microplastics-free cosmetic products since 1996. Today, the company exports to over 30 countries, most recently generating a turnover of around €195 million. Wannemacher describes herself as the “belly” of Ringana, while Wilfinger is the “head”. She says: “He is the sober numbers person, I rely a lot on my intuition.”

Haya Molcho grew up in Tel Aviv and in Germany, before settling in Vienna. She is a renowned chef and in 2009 founded NENI. The company runs 12 restaurants in Europe and additionally distributes products under its own brand through large supermarket chains. Camille Vasquez ist jene US-amerikanische Anwältin, die den Schauspieler Johnny Depp im Verfahren gegen seine Ex-Frau Amber Heard verteidigt hat. Heard hatte Depp Missbrauch und häusliche Gewalt vorgeworfen. In einem sehr öffentlichen Gerichtsverfahren machte Vasquez auf sich aufmerksam und ging neben den zwei angeschlagenen Hollywood-Stars als „Overnight Star“ aus dem Medienspektakel hervor. Sie gewann den Fall für Johnny Depp – und wurde in ihrer Kanzlei zur Partnerin befördert.

Tanja Koch hat Mut und Unternehmergeist. Nach verschiedenen Positionen in Tech-Unternehmen gründete sie Amplo, ein Unternehmen, das digitale Lösungen zur Wartung von Ladestationen für Elektrofahrzeuge entwickelte. Heute ist sie Business Development Manager bei Ethon AI, einer KI-gestützten Plattform zur Erkennung, Überwachung und Vermeidung von Qualitätsverlusten in der Fertigung. Koch weiß nicht, was die Zukunft für sie bereithält, es sollte aber etwas Unternehmerisches sein.

And that’s a wrap for the 2023 Forbes DA Women’s Summit!

For the first time since 2019, the Forbes Women’s Summit took place as a physical event. With more than 220 guests, outstanding speakers and strong partners, the Summit not only came to life, but became a huge success. And, according to attendees, provided three main qualities: “inspiration, empowerment, and networking”.

A big thank you to all the people who took part and to all the amazing speakers who gave us so much insight into various exciting areas and shared their learnings: Christina Henkel, Anna Cajot, Marcel Dévény, , , , Denise Jagmetti, Diana Markaki, Stephanie Schoss, .wilhelm , Vanessa Gentile, Bettina Schaller Bossert, Tünde Lukács, , , , Jenny Mathias.

It goes without saying that this Summit would never have come to life without strong partners. The 23-year-old entrepreneur founded Gen Z agency Zeam and was named Forbes Under 30 listmaker in 2020. Based in Zurich, Meier’s company Zeam advises clients like Vodafone, Porsche, and Dyson around the needs and wishes of the young generation. This summer, Meier launched the video-based job platform Jobshot as a co-founder.

Four years ago, Anna Gracia Herbst quit her job in marketing at the age of 23 to contribute to a better world. To do so, she founded the start-up Buy Food with Plastic, a company that enables needy people in Nicaragua, Ghana and India to pay for hot meals through collected plastic bottles. The plastic bottles are then processed into new products to close the loop. Buy Food with Plastic has now been active on four continents for two years. Since its founding in 2018, it has raised more than CHF 1,000,000 in donations, rescued more than 175,000 plastic bottles, distributed more than 80,000 meals, and built a team of 57 individuals worldwide.
